Permanent Riders..It's ALL Guuud!!!

Some positive input regarding the New Perm. Riders from someone who actually uses one.;)

I think the introduction of permanent riders by Outspark was long-overdue.
And despite the barrage of complaints they are here to stay...

Firstly, when purchasing one, it comes fully fed...so no need to feed for a while :)
The rations ARE NOT consumed when you're not riding.
Consumption is very slow...after 6 days i still have 250/300 of the original amount, so haven't used any of my rations, and I play 6+ hours/day!!
At this rate i won't need to use them for another month...

This equates to 5950 sc for rider and 5040 sc for 12 months rations.
Compared to over 40k sc with the old riders!!!

Secondly, and most importantly, the ONE thing that bugs me about temporary cs items is WASTE. :mad:

I want to use those items as much as I can to get good value-for-money and
because I have more than 1 character, this can be difficult at times.
I might be lvling my fighter on a 7-day grind while my cleric sits idle.
But hey, I just remembered that ext, crit suit and raccy on him aint getting used :eek:

And that's what I love about the new perm. riders!!
I can concentrate on 1 char for weeks without worrying about wasted sc.
And lets face it..who enjoys walking from Uruga to BR???

In a perfect Fiesta world, everything would be permanent with just 'maintenance' costs to consider.

You obviously didn't read my thread properly..because in 5 mins the rider doesn't use 50 stamina.
Note to self: make notes of my every movement for my next thread jic

FYI..in those 6 days I have travelled extensively and also meandered through towns and paused for thought at portals and gone AFK to let the cat out...

It's like this;

1; Players who only play a little, like only in weekends would love the perm movers. For them it is cheaper than to use a 30 day mover.

2; Players who play a lot hours daily and spend a lot time riding to BR are WAY better off with 30 day movers.

So Outspark should be fair to both type of players and bring the 30 day movers back.

Ya, they took away the perm cat ears and costumes from the store, so I'm glad I got my Sakura costume and Cat Ears before they were taken away. People who only play on the weekends (like one of my friends) winds up wasting sc on items he only gets to use on weekends...

the perm riders are good and economic for people that dont use them a lot or who use them in erratic bursts rather than constantly

Before we hang the new person for necro'ing a thread, let's please applaud them for using the search feature.

You have to feed your pet rations from the Store, if your mover is a cash shop pet that is. If you have one of the hobby horses from in game, you feed them floating stones you can get from the Item Merchant in Roumen. Hope that helps.

I'm not even wasting rotations? I just unmount my tiger when I'm getting close to 1 min. riding. Then I mount again, tadaaaa, I can ride again without wasting any rotation :)
