Hey guys and gals,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the throngs of people browsing the forums here (I didn't see a specified "Introduce Yourself" thread at first --skipped right past this page -- so I posted a sort of introduction in the "Gameplay" forum, lol).
I came across the game and this forum through a site ad I saw on some other site early last weekend.
A number of my friends have played WoW a lot (I haven't, though) and thought it looked kinda kewl with the Anime-look to the characters and what not, so decided to take a peek at what it was all about.
I'm currently involved in Fiesta playing off the Teva server, which I understand is the oldest and most-competitive server for Fiesta.
My fifth day in, I've by now created four characters (one of each class), and have levelled my main (Cleric) up to 15, and my secondary (Fighter) to 7. And over the course of four days, lol.
Haven't really touched either my Mage or Archer characters, as I'm very much liking working with my Cleric more than the rest.
Never having played an MMORPG a day in my life before now, I've been pretty much learning things for myself as I go along, but have also gotten some much-appreciated help from other players and have received quite a warm welcome.
All in all, I'm really enjoying all of this (the overall atmosphere of the forums, my in-game interactions, things learned, etc.), so much so I don't understand (and have even asked myself) why I didn't take up MMORPG-ing before now, lol.
