Why I Hate DT Now T.T Personal Rant

So yea, after the events of the past hour or so ish, I decided to vent and rant on the forums a bit. lol partially because i'm bored, mostly because i just wanted to rant randomly somewhere about what happened. but yea, if you dont' know me/care about what i'm talking about, just ignore this entire thread xD


So anyways, being a fighter apparently isn't too welcomed in pts for the new dungeon. so after a while of being bored, i decided to go solo the place, at least a few minibosses. how hard can they be? they are MINI bosses lol. eldryst soloed the place, and even if i'm not eld, i can get the minis right?

so i pted some of my friends so i have access to DT. loaded myself with scrolls and what not.....and the result is, i wasted almost 1g worth of stones, pots, and scrolls, not to mention time and exp from dying (i'm not part of the BOT bandwagon, much to the shock of crow >.>) for a couple lovely dusts T.T dusts.....

tackling dt >.> biggest problem are the mobs. i used up all my t4 vit scrolls before i even got to the first boss, from dying so many times. my meeting with the first mini wasn't so bad. used some pots, overall it was easy

and.....two deaths later (situation doesn't seem to have improved much) (and he poisoned and injured me Q.Q i hate being green/grey)

and finally, the trumpets sound....i got TWO dusts from him...well that was an improvement, the magmaton only gave me one T.T

and there goes like...4 stacks of pot (entered with so many hp pots, left with 5).....and countless scrolls....and stones....and you know what, i think i'm just gonna go back to town....and afk and cry in a corner (well maybe not that far)

T.T why do i sux so much......go ahead and laugh at me

I actually applaud you for the ability to solo that :o.. I guess this is coming from the lil' cleric's opinion that doesn't know anything about fighters, but I'd say that's quite the feat ^^.

i can solo >_>; one mob at a time... never REALLY tried it yet Dx sense only been on maybe an hour or two sense it has been open ;x

that's nearly 4mil, and the reason i never solo stuff is cuz i hate wasting pots >.< much easier to duo with a cleric

Why laught at you? :)
You solo beat him and thats what is really count.
And deaths... i cannot remember how many times i died trying solo red monsters :o (that was before care bear modus activation and maybe thats why i am still 3X :rolleyes: ).
However in each deaths i find strenght to moving forward and trying again.
Sh head up and dont let you get discouraged by fact that there are some mobs there that are stronger as we but find inner strenght to do it that again in the future.
Gosh... i start to sound like some sort of old Shaolin Monk teching students ;)

And for the drop issue (Outspark could you please lift drop rate of nice stuff from 0.5 % to at least 20%?)

top 2 and bottom 2 bosses are minis...

the one on the far right inside the big room is the big boss...

its logic, the room that is the biggest is the one big boss stays in.

If it makes u feel better isis i died a few times while on solo, killed many pots (although not as much as u), had a heck of a hard time killing since i would have to pull one mob away from the entire group so i dont get chained agroed

And worst of all....after i killed 2 or 3 of the 4 mini bosses i had to restone; i left and returned and all the mobs were reset Q_Q.

edit: wen u see the bosses about to spawn just deva and back off :P then kill either the boss or spawn later.

Wow, I think fighters and clerics are equally as usefull in that tomb. No other class has anything like 'Deva'. 'Fear' is no substitute for it. Another thing is, those 'caravan' mobs heal each other and are difficult to kill when they are close to each other without the damage done by a fighter. I haven't been in a party with more than 2 fighters (I'm a mage) but i'm sure 3 would be a very strong party. The problem is trying to split the fighter drops 3 ways :( .

I've been in alot of parties in there already. I've practically lived there since it opened. It's terrible when people are in a rush to kill as fast as they can and end up aggroing several other mobs in the process. Sometimes you get lucky and manage to survive but it's chaos always and usually ends up in most or all of the party dying. Everybody has to warp out, rescroll and run the entire maze back to where you left off. In the end...that technique is slow and expensive.

The best party I have been in so far and the fastest to clear entire dungeon had a cleric, fighter, and mage. Mage (me) pulls one mob right past fighter, he/she devas, then we kill it very fast and out of aggro range of other mobs.
We kill gargoyles and caravans in multiple but krugers, flame shielas, flame spirits by themselves. The archer mobs we kill 1 or 2 at a time. You have to be careful when pulling mobs to be certain you only get one and bring it all the way to the tank. You also have to just let big dragon run back inside his room after each miniboss spawns from it but it's the best way to go in my opinion. No problem with dividing the loot, don't have to spend a fortune on many sets of scrolls(we actually had to rescroll because time ran out), and no running back from entrance over and over again.

I have you on my friend's list now. I'd be happy to go in there anytime with you, just give me a whisper. By the way, drops were pretty good the first couple days but, in my case, drops fell way off...LOL. In the past 5 times clearing the dungeon, we only got 2 single drops :(. 2/35 bosses

LMAO... d/w Isis i am even worst ... i've never got drops there ... but when there was a mage with me he got T4 elrue recipe and ... a cleric came with us for 5 mins or so ... he got a fighter boots ... and all what i got is 4 Gold Lump -.-"
