Letter quest bug

Bug Description: After you talk to Peter he gives you a Letter to give out to some girl...Problem is that letter weights 6k and it makes you run in place pratically.I had to delete the letter and ignore the quest.
Operating System:Windows XP Professional version

that is the way of doing that quest in the begining u have to work for it u get 5k
