lol if that were true alotta ppl wud b playin now but i cant and there aint no email hidden nowhere in my email folders your invites mighta gotten stop or blocked or sumtin so yea you probably dont actually need the email it was just to tell you that you got in rofl

Not really, it just says that you shouldn't forward the message and you're bribed with some female Mage eye candy to not tell everyone about it.
But it's probably a bit late for that now.

I have been watching this game for awhile now waiting for the closed beta and have never seen anything posted about applying to be part of the closed beta, so how did they pick the people who got chosen?

I was wondering that myself, but assuming that because there is a serious lack of criteria, they just picked them out at random.
