Dark Priest

Right, I'm going to go the Dark Priest route, and I was wondering a few thing:

1. What is the best build for them?

2. Hard to tell by just looking at the skills, but are they good enough for soloing?

I can gather their roles and such by their skills, but I can't seem to tell what sort of damage they can do, how useful each skill is, because I didn't get any experience as one in OBT. So just general knowledge from someone who played as one would help, thanks.

Also, any rumors on possible third-tier classes for the Dark Priest? I like to think "Lich" myself.

As far as I know there is NO 3rd classes coming out soon.

Any class is good for soloeing really, they are extremlly annoying in pvp because of there constant frenzing, I think your also able to aoe with the dark shield that whenever someone hits you, it hits it back

Spam Frenzy? Why in the world would ANYONE do that? It's not like it's the cheapest thing in the entire game. ESPECIALLY in PvP and not against some AI monster that can do whatever it wants.

Seriously though, I wouldn't really care about PvP except they MAKE you participate in it to advance classes, and to have uninterrupted healing out of the Arena.

So, okay, everyone can solo anywhere... apparently. So at lvl 30, on a scale of 1 to 10, how good of a solo-er IS the dark Priest?

...and seriously? Spam Frenzy? You'd think that would have a pretty long cooldown...

well i got to lvl 30 in CBT as a dark priest and i stopped because there first skill didn't work at all (hoping they first it for OBT) otherwise they are really good for soloing.

best build for them is going Pure int.

knew a lvl 41 DP in Global.

if u ask me DP skills arent ment to be used when ur training its more PVP based class.

i dont remmber all the skills But all i know That thers some skill that blinds the monster(Not recommended for PVe)

and thers also frenzy which makes the monster do the opposite of what thyre normally do which makes it much difficult to hit(not reccomended for PVE)

so u see?Dp is more of a pvp class ven the last skill isnt made for pve ~_~

Dmg diffrence between DP and bishops isnt that significent So both classes

will both lvl at the same pace untill bishop gets his lvl 49 AOE skill (Strongest AOE skill)

and starts pwning (:

believe me i had a lvl 37 Bishop and i was killing pretty fast+the buffs are quite usefull both for pve and pvp

Lol, actually noone actually hit level 49 as a bishop as I recall, and it isn't an aoe skill.

Well i never said some did get to 49 in global...But in the korean ver they did =P

and it is an aoe skill... o.o

i played the korean and saw some 1 use it...

Meanwhile, this current discussion about what you did or did not do is fascinating, but I recall that the mage's fire skill was also aoe in whatever version of this game I've never played.

So, Dark Priest skills aren't actually very good for PvE... and we all know how much I LOVE PvP...

Also, pure int was a suggestion, I'll take it into consideration.

Oh, and the first skill doesn't work... which I believe is Strike of Darkness, which is supposed to remove mana. Yeah, I can see how that wouldn't do much in PvE anyway.

That all adds up to a supporter in a party rather than someone who can strike out alone, at least in higher-level areas. Thanks for the input guys.

Ye Mages fire skill was Aoe in global here none of the Aoe skills worked in CB either its a bug or they decided to Remove the fire spread =p

the diffrence between mages Fire Skill and priests holy strike is the Skill delay.

Holy strike skill delay is like 5Sec when mages skill is like 20Sec or something >.<

is the lvl 49 spell for dark priest an aoe or does it only effect one monster at a time??
