Hello... Why aren't people nice on here?

I don't know that was a rather bold question wasn't it? I'm a pretty bold person. For the past half hour that I've downloaded this game, I've tried getting help from players but they all ignored me.

Look, I'm not one to complain...But when a person is new, you'd think a person could be there to show them around the place instead of an NPC. From a player's perspective I understand more.

I'm new, honestly...And I just want to meet some nice people, people that won't give me stuff, people that won't show the easy way out, I just want to learn how to play this game.

Sorry Luimere, but right now a handful of people are probably at school and cannot immediate reply to help you. However, if you wait a bit we do indeed have many members each with their unique talents who could help you.

Keep in mind waiting 3 minutes between initial post and second post isn't really enough time for people to respond. While there are a lot of players in game, I'd say less than 10% of the overall total actually come to the boards.

Hmmn, there are quite a few nice and helpful people around here I would like to think, and I do try to be one myself. I often just sit outside Roumen and ask if anyone has any questions about the game, and answer those questions. Gotta remember though, quite a few that play this game and go on the forums have school, jobs, and different timezones. Like myself, I just got back from my AF college classes now.

Most times, give it a few hours and you will usually get a response, and ill admit that it is harder to find help in game, due to the shout system overrun with bots... -.-;

i usually try to help those noobs (w/ HP 41+) that come out of Elderine Gate and stumble into Forest of Mist. usually i tell them, it's hard there and they should get to roumen! some ignore me and run; and I tell them they are going to die. others that pay attention, ask me for help and i would either give them a roumen scroll (which i'm running low on) or provide escort to somewhere where the mobs aren't aggressive. overall, i try to be nice. it's hard to keep it up. http://i22.tinypic.com/1o9jeu.gif

I think that's nice of you. Better that what I'd do. Usually I just give them instructions and go on my way. On a positive note, you will aquire more Roumen scrolls even at the later levels of the game via a few repeat quests, ironically enough.

I help people on and off, depends on my mood vs. how they ask. It's hard to help or answer someone when you're sitting in roumen thanks to all the spamming -.- but whenever someone has a question I can answer correctly I usually send a whisper and answer them; I don't usually have the time to take them anywhere or fight with them since I have limited time online.
