View Full Version : Auto-Scrolling

I'm not sure about other classes, but I believe Apps and Mages alike can understand me when they hate the auto scrolling. What is auto scrolling? It is when your cursor is near a monster, and if close enough, will go right to them. This really hurts us when trying to AoE with Lightning. Other times it happens is when you are trying to run away from agros, then a monster comes into your path, and BAM, you double click it, and hit it. Now you got another monster on you.
I think there should be an option to turn this feature off. It would save so much trouble. Anyone else agree?

You should be able to turn that off. I believe the option is called snap and you just unclick the box. It should be in the game options menu.

yeah lol... there is an option in game. Just un-clicky that little Snap box and your problem will be solved.

Yea the Snap option means that your cursor "snaps" straight onto the monster wheny our cursor is close enough.
I hate it so its always been off for me =p

It's kind of annoying for healers in aoe parties. Your running along behind the tank, cursor gets a little close and suddenly you're whacking the mob with your cane. I keep mine off too. Don't really see how having it on would be that helpful to any class.

Wow....i've been playing for a very long time and i never knew about this Snap thing. I always wondered what it was. And yeah it's always been difficult to play a Mage or an Archer with the damn cursor, ESPECIALLY at turmeit, those freakin Cadons take up so much space!.
On my Templar i actually died one time while AoEing, because my stupid cursor kept going on the mobs instead of my char so i couldnt cast Assist Heal and i didnt have HP pots left. I couldnt run away either because i was mob locked.
Thanks for this thread! @.@ You learn something new everyday.
