How do you do it? I started playing about 4 days ago and managed to get to level 33. Even though ive been extremely lucky with finding and selling xen stones(3 so far), the pots are KILLING me. You either pay a small amount for pots that are ineffective or a ridiculous amount for pots that are effective and should be sold by npcs. How do you high level cashless players survive?

p.s. Im buying a sparkcash card tomorrow

At low levels you probably have to sit to recover HP/MP instead of using pots... As you get loot (standard gear, AP gear, quest items, fruits...) and make some money, you can afford using pots with no sitting. Then at high levels you probably have enough money for repotting with no problems, but in Mage/Wiz case, I guess make an alt for farming if you run out of money.

Well the fact that you can afford the pots is not the issue i have here. What im wondering is how you get by with such ridiculously bad healing items, tiny pots are 50hp, thats not even a quarter of my hp and im supposed to level effectively? And the good healing items are selling for a million a peice. You want to tell me that people have enough money to buy a level's worth of pots at 1 million(minimum) kron each?

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. In case you're wondering im a little ticked that the game doesnt sell healing items in stores like im used to. so thats why im coming off so angry.

Well for HP items, Salt (heals for 100), Butter (95 heal) and Juice (500 heal) can be easily farmed by having the request of the wandering merchant quests and killing Giant Poyos and Big Kubbies.
For MP we're stuck with the 50 heal pot. xD

Im assuming the amount of hp players have doesnt become too high even during the higher levels. Thats funny, i must have killed hundreds of giant poyos and never found a single salt. Where do you get juices from? Ive been seeing a lot of people selling them around brynhild.

Salt doesn't drop as often as other things... I get salt every few hundred kills or so. O.o"

You can make juice by bringing 5, 10 or 15 of certain fruits (forgot what they were) to the general shop merchant.

Also: If the pots aren't effective for you... party up with a healer. :D

You need to have the wandering merchant quests (Jikey) to have Salt drop easy... And juices can be made of Tangerines, which are gotten the same way as Salt, only from Big Kubbies.

50MP recovery is more than enough, since few skills requires more than that. (Poor Vulcano)

HP could be a bigger issue after tier 2 depending on your grinding style, as any decent player attacks white or grey enemies for effiency.(Taking 50+ dmg per mob means you're in the wrong place)

Until your mid thirties or even fifties, so you sit to keep your costs down, depending on kron income vs costs in your case. Know when to burn through pots and not.

Mine was about break even when I didn't sell quest items.

Would have been something to complain about back when we only had 20 or 30 hp/mp pots for CB or early OB.

Keep your offensive skill at lv 1 if you don't already.

You could (gasp) not try to do it alone and team up with an aco who could HEAL you... and then you wouldn't need the hp pots. Just a thought. Also, once you are lvl 35, there are four quests you can do daily that net you about 30,000 kron. These are: News about the Son, Learn about Refinery, Report on Candyvault, and Daily Devotion.

actually, news of son gives u 10k, daily devotion gives u 20k, report of cv 10k and refinery 10k. total is 50k. minus the sword u buy from npc for daily devotion is bout 42k per day.

frankly speaking, if u wan lvl crazy, spam pots are the way to go. getting a healer is good alternative but i think getting another person to duo is much better for exp cos 2 atkers = faster kill = less dmg taken.

however i solo most of the time and im donig well from the constant drops of 4ap and 6ap daily. once in a while getting xen is nice especially the 'ting!" sound ^^

i got admit thou that if no good eq drop, my appy spend like 80k-100k on pots only per lvl.

p/s thou the daily quest sux big time due to the low kron 'gift' but something is always better than ntg ^^
**i do think that once u hit 60 and above, u should be financially stable

well i dun have problem to spam hp even just 50 hp o.o
just be careful not to walk into too many agro u can take.if duo wif healer is good too.cos u don have to spam too much unless the total mobs damage more than the healer healing power.u can spam hp a bit here.by doing this its faster and save pot money and u have healer level up too.:D

For a VERY long time there were only pots that healed 20 HP or 20 MP. 50 HP/MP is ALOT. :o
