It seems to me that after you pass the initial tutorial quests, the quests in the game that are offered give good rewards in terms of money made but as far as experience given, they are largely insignificant.
In games like these, it's important to divide the experience of gameplay up to different segments. Grinding(killing monsters for experience) should not be the only way to make efficient use of your time in order to level. To take a break from the monotonous of killing mob after mob, the quests should offer more experience as reward(and perhaps less money?).
Also, the experience required for leveling should be lowered as this is a closed beta game and it would be wise to allow more testers to see more of the game and give the feedback that's necessary. It's discouraging to have such a low leveling scale and work on it knowing very well that there is a high chance these closed beta characters will be deleted when the full version of the game comes out.
Overall, the look and play of the game is simple but quite charming. I look forward to seeing more of the game(hopefully with some changes for the better).

I agree in every single word you say about those quest. They should be more rewarding for your experience so that they almost offers an alternative way of getting some of it.

I could never have said it better. And I agree. If it was easier to level I wouldn't be so heartbroken when my character gets wiped. xD Unfortunately it's horridly painful to grind. And that's pretty much what you have to do to get EXP.
Although some of the quest being offered to me know give me 10k exp or more. But at the same time I don't know what that would fair on my level bar because I just see percentages and not actual numbers. Though by now I'm gonna go out on a limb and say..not that much. P:
Neh. Can't really say anything more except "I agree as well." xD

yea its boring to get exp only from monsters and a little bit from quest. but you know maybe how about some party quest or some place that have some little puzzle that you and your party members must do to get exp?
how about a mini game?

Some of the quests are really rewarding. Unfortunatly, the one's that are, arent able to be completed.
For example, a 20k exp quest at level 30+. A 35k at 40+

the game needs to have at least double experience rates its, kinda wierd it takes you about two hours (the first time) to go up ten levels, then then it takes at least five hours to go up the next ten!
I really dont like games about pure grinding thats why im playing ragnarok on a private server right now untill open beta comes out and they make the game better.

well this is closed beta, maybe they are testing to see if it is too easy to level? or still figuring out how much exp to give. Maybe they will adjust it later on in open beta =P
to me exp isn't that big of a deal.. i can grind for hours =D

I too can grind a long while but wouldn't it be nice and give the game a more enjoyable/dynamic feel if there were other alternatives to level efficiently?

haha same here, but your forgetting the fact that this is CB and most quests arnt implimented yet, the ones that are are simple item gathering quests (whitch depending on where you train is where you will get those items as random drops, then when you have enough start and finish the quest in about 1-50 seconds depeinging if you want to read or not)
Also, if your grining alone thats not the way to go, best would be a party of 4-8 and have atleast one of each class (the base classes, fighter, rough(sp?), mage, aco) that way your party will gain +10% exp each kill, if you can solo the place and if everyone else dosent mind soloing, you can turn the exp share off, so you will reap the benifits of haveing 110% exp per kill, that adds up, its like every 10 kills is an extra kill for free (if your killing the same monster 10 times XD) but still, i say the exp rates are tolerable compareing it to RO (this is basically its good younger brother) and maplestory (got to level 9, got bored of grinding in that game)
The only times when grinding is a pain is when you are grinding for items and personal gain (like levels) Then again Grinding dose become painfull during the 30+ levels... but that is only if you dont have friends(IG or IRL dosent matter) to be in a party with. Once again this is why i recomend a party, not only will they help you level (especaly if you have an aco XD) but they can also provide a vent for all the words you dont say in rl because you are too busy playing this game. (if you keep your words to yourself, itll start to get to you.. not a good thing)
Also if your in a good party they might let you leech once in a while while you take care of things thats happening in the real world, but they might also move on without you leaveing your char vunerable (depening on how close you are with your party)

The age old question - Longevity Vs Grind.
Developers want to produce games you will play, but Koreans tend to be a little over zealous in requirements of leveling, to ensure longevity in leveling and keep you paying the $ or £ etc. Westerners are not as gulible to accept longevity in leveling, but expect a little grinding for their bucks, though, they will not sit like some automotron at a computer day in day out, if they are bored with the game they are playing....at least, I wouldn't.
As an old gamer, I want something that has everything, crafting, questing, fun, leveling, but I am not keen on grind, because it's not fun.... but I understand, some points need to be tedious and repetative, to maybe stop me from leveling so fast, but it's a double edge sword for me. Remove my fun and I just go play someplace else which might not be as tedious.
Having made a few characters now, explored a few options and leveled to 30+, I can see myself worrying about pushing further at this stage, simply because that grind is kicking in, slowly, but surely. Questing is already a pain, due to bad drop rates of specific quest items I need in order to proceed, but I don't want too many, kill 500 pink pigs for 200xp bonus and a strawberry either. I know quests can make or break a game, events can make or break the game, but it's the personality of players the game needs to reach.
Personally, I don't know what's best for me or you regarding this game, but they need your advice, suggestions and comments to help try to make the game we are all wanting.
I hope the quests intime do offer more xp related because then your getting what I call a real bonus. I don't want to grind my way up, I want to have fun with bonuses, bells and whistles.

i agree with you, but if you like questing so much go play some WoW XD unless your alrey bored of that (level 70 cap ftl.. but its there for a reason)
i personaly would suggest quests that broke from tradition, like one where you had to go somewhere within a timelimit (like in WoW) but during that quest there will be a buff on you to set it so you have a set movement speed (like 19 <defult to class1> with no bonuses)
