Is this SOS or a new Ragnarok

I found this game and it realy just looks like a improved Ragnarok online. classes system (changing class as you lvl but there are more) graphics look the same as well as monsters i have seen. combat to.

i was just wondering is this just like a Ragnarok just with a few new features a tiny graphics upgrade? im not saying this game is bad i think it actualy looks pretty dam awsum.

i could say different but people would disagree I believe its more of its own thing..I think its like water margin haha that game was a okay game. There was another game but i cant remember the name off the top of my head right now.

If i had to describe it...its like RO 1.5 updated EVERYTHING you can actually change your clothes now >.>. Music is great and gets you pumped up. Its basically a better RO.

The problem is that some sprites looks close as Ragnarok sprites.. One of them is the sprite that remember me the Acolyte of Ragnarok that you find in the first page of SOS.. and the characters sit like the RO characters too.. I've invited to play the closed beta so I will check the game to see if Its really good or a RO-clone.

lol thats what i was thinking but what we have seen of it.
you cant realy complain about how they sit down..... i meen there isnt like a million diferent ways you can sit on the floor let alone ones people actualy do casualy. eh i dont care i love RO big problem was that it was not a very big game so things like boss hunting was realy hard. i hope this i biger tho lol. but i allso hope it isnt TO MUCH like RO.

Even if it's a RO-Clone i dont care, because i always dreamed to play a Upgrade RO.
3D Graphics and the clothes change ...too bad i cant play RO2 (damn KSSN!).

Maybe they look like RO style, but the game it's totally different...
That makes the best Game for me,right now..(i played RO 6 years...i have no life i know)
Looks like my fav game (RO) but it's different and new ! (i always search for new games and new features).

Anyway, the graphics and looks doesnt change the game, and the story of it.
So, no..it's not a new-RO or a Copy-RO...It's SoS :P

yeh cloths change is kinda cool but with RO your chars kinda looked realy awsum (second classes anyway like assassin) in wich cloth change would make them look stupid. like realy an assassin wearing a purple suit. sry this i going off topic >.<

anywayz this looks fun. i hope the CB hurrys the hell up and they have like no bugs. only problem is my net sucks gonna be like an 8 hour download

Isnt the best story but it was still good...you can check it at the website (i think they have the story also in iRO).

Well, i first want to try this game out and then we'll see if it's like RO or not...or what the game is all about :P

While I know it isn't RO my son, who was watching kept saying, lolz that looks like RO...and that looks like RO...and thats just the same with new name, etc etc.

He did say it was better graphics than RO and looked like it would be more fun that RO.

Personally, I think the sprites are somewhat similar to Ragnarok Online considering iv'e played the game for more than four years... but testing games for so long has given me the conclusion that a game isn't really made by the look of things, but how well and how fun the MMO is to the player behind the screen. I'd say try it out and if you don't like it, fine, quite. But at least you have other legit resons to back it up either way. :3

For me I believe SoS's engine is the same with Ragnarok Online, name Ageis. It's nice to play something like this after basically leaving RO because there was nothing much to do, except WoE.

the graphics aren't necessarily better then RO's.
other then this being an entirely different game, RO's charas have a more appealing cute look.

and to those that say this is RO2, no it isn't.
RO2 is still in the beta stages in the korean version~
it is not yet available in english.

Yeap I believe so that they are using the same engine that was used in RO. and i believe its called Aegis. well anyway for guys that dont know using the same engine to make another game is really not bad.. they might have similar graphics, damage calculators and physics and other stuff but the real aim is to make a better one or even more enjoyable by adding new stuff and removing lame features that the previous game that was made from the same engine had...like for example Lucas Arts: Jedi Knight Series was actually made from quake III engine and its whole a lot of fun for me than quake III

When i first looked at the site today, I noticed the HUGE resemblance to RO as well, which is the reason why i'm here now. xD So I'm wondering: I've been reading that the graphics and monsters and pretty similar as well as the classes. So, for those of you who do get the play the game right now, overall, are there real differences between them? I would think so, but I'm not really finding anything about it. I wouldn't mind trying it out when open beta comes around either way. Thanks for the input.

You might be thinking of Trickster. The battle system is similar to it. Then again, most MMOs nowadays have the same battle system...

As for SOS, it really does look like another RO, but I don't have anything else to do, so I might as well try it.

ah well RO was good just people looked at it and said "this game is crap and is probably for 5 - 10 year olds" :mad: anywayz this looks good. lets hope the same thing dosent happen.

No, tis game feel slike RO at first, but when you get into it, its quite alot different/worse. This game has made me realise how great RO was. The class system is crap, the skill system is flawed and no, you cannot change your cloths, it is set by class, just like RO, only different being, the hats in RO looked alot better then they do here...

And are you in the closed beta........ there is cloth changing and who cares if there isnt the sprites look good anyway.
