Things that annoy you about Players/Fiesta

Just post whatever you think is annoying; In game, forums, Fiesta itself, etc.
Don't start flaming someone because you don't like what they say. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I don't want this thread closed.

It's merely to point out/vent the small things in Fiesta that annoy you.


I'll start off with my own list.

1. Those damn annoying cookie people.

You know the type. The ones who are alway shouting in chat stuff like "ZOMG! -Gibs cookiez- (>^.^)> [::]"
GOD. Can't they think of any other baked treats? Maybe instead of saying "gibs cookies" they could say something like "gibs malt liquor" or "gibs small piece of bellybutton lint". I hate people who try to be too cutesy, after a while it's just irritating.

2. People who ask "wats dis thread abut??" and fail to read the first post.

Because, honestly.

3. How Outspark tends to ask for player's opinions, but anything rarely gets done.

If you're just going to do whatever you want, why ask us? Sheesh.

4. Clerics who ask you to heal them.

If you're mentally capable to download the game, register for an ID, install the game and create a character, I'm pretty sure you can figure out how to heal yourself.

I was one of only a couple of clerics in an MD KQ when this cleric just rushes in and says "heal me". I honestly just shook my head and quit KQ. I would understand if maybe it was a beginner or something, but how can you go 47 levels without knowing?

5. Storage Keeper Curly.

AUGH. He's like a tall hobbit, he has hairs on his feet. >_>
ALL THOSE MUDS FOR NOTHING.

fiesta should add more map's and cooler kq and some weird cool new stuff that keep's us true player entertaned :p

These are a few things that annoys me:

1. PVP KQ - Even though its a free-for-all KQ, when there are a few members from the same guild, they team up and go attack everyone else.

2. Chat system - Sometimes when I'm tying a message, all of a sudden the message bar stops even though there's still room to type. For example, if I typed out this sentence: "SparkCash items MAY NOT be traded or sold. Such attempted sales should be reported."

It may look like this with the glitch: "SparkCash items MAY NOT be traded or sold. Such attemp" [viewing stops here but can still be typed out] "tedsales should be reported."

3. SparkCash - I'm not annoyed about the prices but the responsibility by the staff to uphold it. I remember there was a post saying why it takes OutSpark so long to implement new contents to the game but they said they weren't in charge of that. They were in charge of the SC Store and Events (might/might not be more but those are the two I remember most). Since they manage the store, why do items disappear from the list? They wouldn't know if something was missing unless someone mentioned it. And if no one mentions it, probably half the items wouldn't be listed.

4. Server Population - Servers are on Medium when day starts and High by late morning/early afternoon but lets invite more people with that "Invite-a-Friend" event.

5. Joining KQ - I find it really bothersome when you join a KQ and as you're waiting for that 10 seconds, I notice I was still on the same map. Next thing I see, the KQ has started but I didn't get transported to the KQ Map.

6. Bugs/Glitches - I could have saved space if I mentioned this earlier. But anyway, like everyone wants, these need to be fixed. The thing I want to know is that we get the patches to fix the bugs/glitches from the Korean Devs right? I mean if the Korean Fiesta has the same problems we have, I'd understand but if our B/G are fixed on the Korean servers and not here, something isn't right.

7. Leechers - Granted that there was a few times (not in a row) I leeched, it was mainly bad timing. One example is KKP, about 3 minutes in, I had to go to the post office to mail out a package before they closed. But there was this one time (still a KKP KQ) when had to relog because my visuals were messed up, I logged back in a minute later and saw a person in the "sit" position.

8. Buffs - No need to explain much here since everyone knows how annoying that can be. I only buff people who ask politely and in a form of a question...not a demand.

9. Bragging - Forum topics that are made just to brag annoys me a lot. I can sweep the entire floor of a three family house in 5 minutes, let me go make a topic about that.

10. Guild Chat - I was in a guild, fairly big, and I remember when one of the newer member asked a question, no one would say anything. He asked again, no answer...not even an I don't know. I believe the question was about Fame. Then when an older member logs in and says "Hi" and "How's everyone doing?", 4-5 people are quick to respond. Oh there was a time when the new member says "Hi, how are you doing?", and no reaction also. Sometimes I tried to respond just so that person wouldn't feel left out. This doesn't happen too often but annoys me.

There's probably more but I'll add them in later. Remember, this is a list what annoys me, not what I like. I still love the game but sometimes I feel the opposite.

FFS. I was the first in the server to get a certain type of hair. Everyone thought it looked disgusting. Then, all of a sudden loads of people with that same hair pop out of nowhere.

Alright, fair enough. Until one day, I saw a girl with the same hair, same color, same face, same damn class as me. I don't know how many times I have damned her to hell. -_-

I'm not sure how using "words" like "ish," "yesh," "meh," "mah," "mushy," etc. registers as cute to someone. I can't help but think they're a bit...slow. Maybe at the ripe old age of 23, I'm just too old to get these hip youngsters?

Not so much using too many of them, but bizarre faces like ";O;" "~_~" "-W-"and "=_=" I mean, what the heck is that last one? You have 4 eyes or something?

3. Former guildmates.
I have no problem helping a guildie now and again, but if you leave the guild, why in the world should I loan you 2-3g? Because we exchanged pleasantries a couple times? For real?

4. Impatient academy members.
There's really nothing quite like seeing "any1 want 2 help me lvl?" Followed soon after by "this guild sux." So dreadfully sorry you can't be powerleveled at the moment. I do so hope the door hits you on the way out.

5. Talkative party members.

My pet *forum* hate is people who troll the forums and post on every thread in a condescending manner just to up their post count. The game is repetative and so the forums will be repetative, have nothing to actually contribute to the thread then stay out of it.

The forums are for people to share, if a member has achieved a goal in the game he has been working for then he has every right to start a thread and gloat. Dont like it, you have the power, you simply DONT open that thread end of story.

You obviously haven't played a cleric. And you obviously havent been harassed by noobs for buffs, despite your class. I've been on all four class and had at least one idiot ask me for a buff -.-

Clerics aren't bots, they're human beings. And they're spending their sp on you. You wanna ask, go ahead and ask. But if a cleric says "no" (and I've done this in the past) or chooses to ignore the request then go find someone else. There's a million other clerics that would do it. well i have cleric fyi... that y i quit it because it annoying... the point what i try 2 said it its ur responsibilities by what u choosing here... so its ur own problem if u got so many ppl asking 4 buff... u choose 2 put ur self into that situation.. like i said cleric not bot for buff/rev/heal..

EVERY time a cleric goes to town to do basic stuff like restone they are hounded by every man and his dog for a buff so that they can go shopping. I go AFK in town and invariably when I return to my computer I have been called all kinds of nasty names because I ignored someone and didnt buff them. I am SURE noone yells at fighters/archers/mages while they restone or go afk IN TOWN because they didnt get a buff.

My way to deal with this is I NO LONGER BUFF IN TOWNS, if you ask me for a buff and you are on a map with mobs then sure I will buff. Do I care if people call me nasty names? nope I sure dont cos I have learnt it is the name caller who has the small mind.

Ok, you specified on clerics, so I got really upset, but I see where you're going with this now.

What you're talking about is playing the different classes. If you play a class, there's a certain role you're expected to fulfill. Clerics are expected to heal all the time, moreso when you're actually fighting things than when you're in town, trying to buy stones -.- Fighters (the tanks more than the DDs, because tanks are built to take hits) are expected to kick/mock all the time, and if they can't fulfill such a simple task of holding a monster or two's attention, then it means they fail at playing their class's role.

Archers and mages have no curse, socially speaking. Being called "noob" for running away from monsters? That sounds like stupidity that's been poorly phrased into an insult. Do me a favor. Ignore the moron saying that and go on with enjoying the game. Hopefully the other mages and archers will do the same.

Anyway, buffing is really a requirement only when you're in a party and someone within your party doesn't have a buff. Refusing someone at that point is pure stupidity on the cleric's part. But if they're in-town, doing alchemy, buying stones, trading with someone, etc., those are all times where a cleric doesn't have any obligation to do anything. It's the cleric's downtime, just like it is for fighters, archers, and mages. Even if it's the cleric's curse, I know for a fact that they don't have to buff anybody. Buffing random people who ask you for one was never the role of a cleric. If it was, we'd get endure at level 1 instead of level 47.

As soon as i cap my cleric (currently 87) i will retire it for a bit and play a diff char. Ive heard of so many clerics that choose in later lvls to switch char just to escape the hassle we get. I love going on my mage so much more, i can chill in any of the towns in peace and its bliss.

Yes. I think clerics eventually start to view "buff plz" not as a request, but as a hoop someone is jumping through to get something they feel entitled to after having done so. And yes, exceptionally polite requests get people on my "white list." and I buff them whenever I find them.

Get your noob char to buy them and put them in storage. Then u can just get them out in uruga storage and make them there^^

You must very carefull check each meat drop coming from crabs because they tend to drop tought meat as well so its rather easy to mistake both meats.
From my experience i known that complete this quest is necessary to kill + - 10 more crabs as initial quest requirement because drop rate is set very random.
Sometimes each killed crab drop crab meat and sometimes you kill 10 crabs in row without single crab meat drop.

I must say that Quest item drops rate is one of the weakest points of Fiesta gameplay.
For example in RO... player get quest item automatic however required monster kills is usually 2x or 3x bigger as items count.
10 quest items = 20 or 30 monsters.
But auto gather of items remove stress of counting each kill in hope to get single drop and growing up fury when after killing of 20 mobs in row you still missing one last item to end quest (people from +70 and higher should known what i mean).

Hmm.. Lemme think.. Things that really annoy me as a cleric:

1 - "Don't Heal Me"

In a Kindom Quest, on more than one occasion, I would heal a Cleric and they would give me attitude and say things like, "What's the point of healing a cleric?" or "I Don't need your help, I can heal myself." Seriously, why deny help? It makes their job easier, and saves them SP.

2 - Cleric Disrespect
Many players always blame clerics for their deaths. In some cases it is their fault, but not if you die in one hit. I once partied with an archer, two clerics, and a fighter in a Kingdom Quest. I watched the archers health go from 'Full' to 'Empty' in an instant, and his response was, "Wow, 3 clerics in a party and they can't heal me?" Also, in another party I got banned for sticking with the majority of the party and keeping them alive. The party leader wandered off and said I was too far from him, so he banned me. One more thing... for people who want buffs and SPAM "buff plz" Doesn't make any sense to me.. Do they not realize of the block option and how it GREATLY drops the chance of anyone buffing them. When I get the privilege to buff someone I'm just going to ignore anyone that says, "buff plz" and wait until they ask properly.

3 - Party Invite
I hate randomly receiving party invites. I don't know what you want. Next time engage in conversation before you ask them to party. It is considered rude to many people, such as myself, and yet that's probably how 90% of parties form, although I don't really mind in Kingdom Quest.

4 - "Don't steal my Kills!"
Okay, this is for people who complain about kill stealing in Kingdom Quests. Seriously, there is no such thing as kill stealing in Kingdom Quests. You are supposed to work together as team to become successful. If you need a certain mob for a quest, then ask your party to focus on those mobs. If you are about to get a level and miss out on a good quest reward, then die a couple times, come back, then try again. Stop complaining about kill stealing in Kingdom Quests.

5 - Caps are fun!
Caps are for shouting at someone that you are angry at (even then they're much better ways to handle those situations.) or pointing out something important within your conversation. Never keep your 'Caps Lock' on. It annoys others tremendously.


6 - Over Ego Much?
You aren't better than anyone else. It's just a game, having fun is its purpose. Sure you may be a much higher level, but don't act like you are better than them. If anything, help lower levels out. Just don't put any of them down.

I may have missed some other annoying habits that players tend to do, but that's the top 6 on my list that I wish the players to fix, not in any order.

Fighters(and others) who want archers/mages to aoe but make no effort whatsoever to hold the aggro of a mob. The cleric(sometimes) is so intent on healing the fighter they don't realize that archers/mages still have aggro and end up dead because of it.

Secondly, while I understand about the not having to buff just because it's a skill you have thing, what upsets me is when I politely ask for a buff, with complete sentences, to a cleric that I just saw moving, totally ignore me. For me personally, I'd rather have you tell me no, then ignore me. I found it highly disrespectful.

Thirdly, on the above note, I'm highly upset when I'm in a KQ and when things take a turn for the worst, Clerics are the ones blamed. I have a noob cleric and I'm hesitant to lvl it much because of the crap I know I'll have to put up later on. I apologize to all clerics who were actually doing a good job but got the blame for others idiocy.

So, the game is dying- being suffocated by a lousy host (Outspark) and instead of working 'round the clock to fix this sinking ship, we get a facebook page... that's cool, real great business move by Outspark.

Spammers,whiners or buff plzers aren't actualy what I'm concerned about,there's plenty imaturity when it comes to guild wars or greed in general.
It annoys me more because it causes major displeasure on a bigger scale with long lasting effects.
You may be annoyed at someone for spamming but that's only until you block,when a gw starts because x called y a **** or x did _____ to y the truth gets twisted to make y's story grave enough for the entire guild to be implicated and for x to come out inoccent or wronged for theirs.
This way it only becomes a matter of who reached the audience faster,who's story got heard first or is the most well known version :/
