Bear Boost Suit mode tests

Well, i'm just posting this as an FYI. ^^; There has been some talk that the boost bear suit works without a gem (if you have it equipted in mixed mode) or even if you have a gem on (and it's equipted it in mixed mode.)

I was curious and decided to test it out. I pulled out my Xenian and started hunting poyo's. She's still lvl 16, so the EXP could be easily recorded. I first killed one without the bear suit, then i killed one with the bear suit equipted normal mode. I then killed on with the bear suit equipted on mixed mode (without a gem active) and then activated a week long gem.

The results: the boost works ONLY when the suit is equipted normally. It doesn't work in gem mode AT ALL.

Correct, I tested it last weekend pulling the whole emp (incredible that I could make 3 runs alone in a boost weeked xD) and the result was the same... it doesnt work in mix mode, not as accurate as killing poyos with a xenian, but I got the answer myself, of course I didnt tried with the bear suit in normal mode for obvious reasons *_*

(also, a lot of cablo and the 2 headed plant like mob were killed in the making of this post. May their digital souls rest in peace. xD)

Is the bear boost suit worth wearing instead of armor if you are a squire lvl 30+?

so from what u r saying, the boost only works when u wear the the costumes without the mix mode? i mean like more exp for less def thingy..

so i dun think it worth at all using the bear suit. so i getting it right?

since the test is on bear suit, how bout the bear head costume? works in gem mode?

To the best of my knowledge none of the sparkcash items give any benefit other than looks in the mixed gem mode. If you can live with the defense of the bear boost suit or boost set, it gives you extra experience. The boost set I think is the bear suit, the bear head, and the boost bag, so all would give you 15% extra. However you would lose the defense of your armor and helm in the set, so if you can't take the damage it probably isn't worth it.

If you can afford it, the bear set helps when completing quests that give a lot of experience, especially during a boost weekend. That's mainly what I have used them for. I know some scouts and apps that fight in them, but not any close range types.

actually, the santa suit worked in gem mode and the rain set (I think.) that's what made me wonder about the bear boost.

dont buy the bear boost suit, it's pointless ._.

My advice is to buy the boost bag by itself.. if you want an extra 5% :)
Or buy the boost set for 1 day and use it when you do a very rewarding quest and make sure you do it on a boost weekend... which i think what Taz said
