Dear GMs, some people complain alot about some of the events, and I personally want to tell you that that's NOT a sentiment of the majority!
Most of the guild I'm in _LOVES_ the events, and especially loves the rewards. there are a handfull of people who are unfortunately in the majority, and are ruining it for the rest of us. It makes me sad when I put 40 minutes into an event, then it's cancelled because of a few people complaining loudly.
I love this game, I love this event, I hope you'll continue to host them.
the only thing I have to suggest, is perhaps a little more planning and forethought.
alot of people have alot of lag in roumen, so it's not an ideal place to hold a war event. I would like to suggest a new area that you set aside JUST for war events, where we can warp to from our town of choice and fight you without all the shops and people running around.
That's just one suggestion I have to help :) we'd have alot less lamers ruining events for us that way ^,.,^
Thank you GMs, Steam, Private Doughnut, et al.
PS, please send more Pie, she was fun to talk to ^,.,^

I completely agree. Some people try to ruin the events for us, but they're always a LOT of fun. That last GM war was hilarious, trying to figure out where the durr we were getting sniped from.
Now, personally, I didn't even get one inch of lag in Roumen when we did that; or in Elderine when we do stuff. But I also realize my machine can run stuff like Fear and Doom 3 on maximum graphic settings, so.. it's probably -normal- that this game never really lags for me. But I also understand that it's not this way for everyone. Hence, I also agree with setting up an area of events like guild wars, though I still think escorts and monster invasions and such need to be hosted in Isya as it is.
Do not, ever, stop doing these events though. If anything, you should throw people who complain, or misbehave, directly into prison without passing go and collecting 200$.
But don't stop! We love the events.

lol loving that last part of your sentance Lu Bu XD. Yeah I have to agree I find the events most entertaining at the best of times. There fun and I think it encourages people to work together etc to accomplish the event. Personally it has helped me form friendships with other players which is always a good thing. Keep up the good work! :-)

I always miss events, so while I think events are really cool and they tend to make players want to stay on a game longer, it would be REALLY nice if we had a an events page telling us when there will be events. I know there is a stickied thread in this section specifically for that, but it always seems to never be updated to the right date and time (ie. the date for the events are already passed whereas the events for the Teva server are current).

So far the thread in this forum has been 100% accurate on events and times. Perhaps you just need to re-read it again and convert the time to your proper timezone.

Event Schedule 10/01/07-10/05/07
That is what the current thread is. No matter what my timezone is I'm not going to be days behind ;)
Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Someone link me the current one for Apoline?

This quite simply means that there are no events scheduled for the weekend, otherwise they would be posted.
GMs aren't under the obligation of scheduling events every single day. If something is scheduled, it will be posted; if it's not scheduled, it will not be posted. Therefore, the thread is up-to-date on what was scheduled for this week.
Tune in for the one that covers next week. That's all.

Ah well I just figured that since it said on the main page "** Event Schedule 10.06.2007 to 10.11.2007 **" that there would be stuff happening this weekend. Also there's stuff happening for Teva so thats why I thought there would be stuff happening for apoline as well. Guess GM's rotate events for servers.

Guess GM's rotate events for servers.Well, as far as I know, Teva and Apoline have unique GMs. Also it could just be that Kaalan got lazy and didn't post the schedule for 06 to 11 (now, just how unlikely is that, hm?) but unless he comes on and says otherwise, then that means no events. :(

I posted a bit ago, I would have events schedule changed by Monday the week of.
It's changed and up right now. I am also moving these threads to general discussion, as they are not supposed to be in this forum. But we do appreciate the feedback.
