I'm glad that I can reset my stats for free right now. But I wonder if there will be a time when it will be expensive or even impossible.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was a spark cash item in the end. They gotta make a profit off the game one way or another.

oops I meant stat points... not skills, sorry.
Any you can definitly reset stats at level 20, as well as at lvl 16
at the very least.
what I want to do is put all points on WIS so i have a lot of mana to spam spells for now, and then later reset and put most in INT for higher level hunting.

I tried out the reset stat too just cause I was curious. I'm pretty sure that you can do it an infinite amount of times since I did it 3 times on level 21 just to see what stat allocation let me kill fastest/survive as a fighter. I'm also pretty sure it cost me nothing to do it each time. It'll most definitely be removed at the end of the beta though since I seriously doubt they'd leave something like that in the game =P

Why not?
I think having the ability to change your stats and skills for free whenever you want would bring an interesting aspect to the currently non-existent metagame of SoS.

It takes away from any kind of strategy on creating and training your character. Restat isn't a feature that should be abused.

@TygerRose: I fail to see the logic behind that statement.
The whole reason you change your stats is to adapt to a different strategy.
So instead of having to fork out real money to be able to change your strategy just so you can do the labyrinth or any other dungeon thing, wouldn't it be more strategic to be able to change stats whenever you want?

Well we might be able to restat w/o using cash shop items if thats what you mean. Either there would be a real game gold per stat point restat or something like that or a lv limit for restat. Just guessing cause most mmorpgs' are like that.

I have to say I like the idea of it being free at the beginning, since at the beginning you're unsure of what you really want.
But at the same time it takes away from the forethought factor that you have to plan your characters ahead of time. I think either way I'd be content, as I wouldn't want to change my characters around THAT often. If I want something that can tank, I'll use a fighter, if I want something that can beat stuff up quickly, I'll use a magician, ect ect.
It's still a very interesting feature to have now though. n_n I wish it was available in some other games (coughcoughfiestacoughcough), even as a cash item I'd probably purchase it if I wanted to make an adjustment. xD
