Its happend to me plenty times, just reset your inferface and everything is back to normal. Dont worry when I lost my chat box it took me 1 day to get it back becuase i didnt know how untill I asked =D.

I might advise that after log IN first what should be done is lock chat box in his place (in left upper corner of chat box is a locker).
Otherwise there will be constant risk of loosing chat box in less proper moment.
