Before you read on, take a good look at the playable characters in the game...(are you looking...@_@) now, do you find something...ODD about how we look, or how others look? Anyway...
WHY DOES EVERYBODY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME!!!
I don't know if there is a thread talking about this, but what I am looking for is a BIGGER variety in character design.
I mean, LOOK at all the playable characters in Solstice...everybody looks ALIKE!!! Sure there is a difference in gender (but even then I get confused once in a while) but, the majority of Xenians consist of anime influenced teenagers, uncannily similar skin tones, and with the exact same height. C'mon...what if I wanted to build a middle-aged, dark skinned, balding man? Or what if I wanted to put together a heavy framed, puckered lipped, squinted eyed diva? Seriously...in my opinion, JAKARA is the most interesting character in the game, and it's unfortunate that he isn't a playable.
Not to digress but "Obesities" of course are also cool, because pink giant killer bunnies rule and make even the strongest characters cry.
Basically, I want a wider variety of choices when it comes to character design. I guess I'm thinking more in the lines of Wii characters where there is more depth in sprite customization. Sure we can change our hairstyles in S.O.S., but even THAT we are restricted to the typically traditional anime hairstyles and contrived semi-over-the-top colors.
Although the SC items does change the appearance of the characters a little, but the "personality" of the character is still the SAME. Look at our bland, simple, and mundane faces...just boring I tell you.
...I don't know...I guess this is not the most significant aspect of the game, but if they did implement MY idea, it would make player's gaming experience much more memorable and interesting.
