Question about Race to Lv25 event

Hi.

I was wondering if the weapon you get from the event is suppose to be special in anyway... I got to level 25 and the Staff of Knowledge I recieved was completely normal, exactly like the one i bought from the npc at level 20.

Seems strange to me >.>

Your not the only one(you aren't alone!), people who have reached level 25 also received their level 20 job specific weapon.

I sure hope this isn't a joke(could be a bug/glitch) for those who received the prize.

EDIT: Read the event again and it looks like everyone gets the prize.

Get to lvl 25 and you receive a weapon that your already wearing, then you can sell both ur [lvl 20 weap + top $] to buy a lvl 25 weap

i hope they will edit the event n reward us with maybe a glowing lvl 25 weap which sound more like an event.

anyway i think they should change it...atleast for a normal lv 25 wep.

Yea, it's just a normal lvl 20 weapon, I found that out yesterday. >_>
I was quite disappointed, my lvl 20 bow I crafted was better than it even.

unfortunately I didnt read this... I got lvl 25 and when I saw it was a plain lvl 20 weapon which i already had I was so mad........................................
Useless quest... btw why in the world would they take the other portals away... The Robot boss has some serious kill stealers now thx to Outspark

the event is still going on correct??? well hell i didnt even GET a weapon when i hit 25. i shut down the game thinking it would pop in there, i reinstalled the game, i even waited a few days and still no weapon. but if all you guys say is true i have no more reason to even want the weapon since its only a lvl20 weapon. oh well might as well keep grinding then.

I got an unmodified level 20 weapon when I hit 25, but I think it only happened on the first character that I hit 25 with (unlike the fire necklace). It's safe to say that you should be in no hurry.

It was anticlimactic to the point of being interruptus.
