People try to ban other characters or players for the most stupidest things! I mean come on, who cares if someone is using racial slur and some other stupid language? I can care less if I call myself a [EDIT]. If Fiesta is not for mature players, then perhaps I should just play Texas Hold'em at a casino or something. The thing is, people need to learn that these are nothing more but words. Has anyone ever heard this saying..."Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me", I mean...come on...LMAO!

Lol, you may not be offended by racial slurs or care if one uses them but that doesn't make it right. Just because YOU don't care if people use them doesn't mean everyone else doesn't care. It's offensive and disrespectful, so getting banned for using racial slurs isn't a stupid reason for getting banned. /my two cents

Obviously you need to take a social psych class. You will understand how racial slurs just being said affect the mind and force sterotypes. You say it, they learn it, they use it, it goes on forever, and it's offensive.
Fiesta is for mature players, obviously if you have to use racial slurs or foul mouth, then you are not quite there yet.

Maturity is knowing that what you say has a different effect on different people. Maturity is being able to get your point across without blindly insulting a person just because they look or act different than you. Maturity is knowing that hate speech has never caused any good in the world.
Go play Texas Hold 'Em if you have that kind of attitude about your fellow man. Don't talk about maturity or pretend to have any knowledge about the impacts of racism until you've taken at least a remedial course about either
(a) discrimination against the Civil Rights movement in the first half of the 20th century.
(b) the Holocaust, Kristallnacht and anti-semitism
(c) discrimination against Japanese-Americans during World War 2
(d) post 9/11 discrimination of anyone of Middle eastern, Islamic, or Southern Asian descent.
(e) gender discrimination of women throughout history (most notably the Catholic Church) and current discrimination in the workplace, i.e. the "glass ceiling"

HA HE! At least the kid could've just said "Hey, please don't say that again, it offends me." Nuff said. I'll stick around some more if I can if not then oh well, its just a game.

Whether or not you agree with Outspark's rules, you still agreed to abide by them when you checked the little box saying you will follow the ToS. Every MMO follows these rules. If you don't like it then yeah, go play somewhere else.

"stick and stones....words will never hurt me"
This saying never made any sense to me. I think many people will agree that words can hurt.

Gen. Viet_Scouty, I can't agree at that statement, If anyone offends you, then you are allowed to take "legal action", even though that I prefer to ask him to stop or call for some vendor killers...
But the point is another, you are right on this: People try to ban other characters or players for the most stupidest things!
In fact it happened to a couple of friends that they were spawn killed, so the normal average reaction is an offense... and they were banned..
Or also, they were mocked with words like " I told you to stop with drugs " or " n00b " or " fail n00b " or also " kill that bish " and many other that, normally, but not always, are punishable with an offense in return, well if you insult them back then YOU are banned, not them that have started all.
But the very point of this is that there are some player that when insult you CAN'T be banned, while when you reply to their insults with a simple "shut up" you are banned for harassing like 48-72 hours. I have proof of what I say of course, and moreover you can be banned for a reason instead of another to punish you of something else that, if not wouldn't be punishable for lack of proofs (it is the same reason why AlCapone was arrested for not paying the taxes...).
OUTSPARK seems more a prison rather than a game, especially if you bother "certain" players, if you also add that staff members can make a character like all normal players.. and have "friends" like all normal players.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me"
I wonder who ever came up with that saying. Honestly, sometimes emotional pain can hurt a lot more than physical pain. You may not be one to get offended by racial slurs, 'verbal abuse' or things along that line but many others do and frankly I don't blame them for getting offended. You shouldn't be disrespectful towards others. It's not a funny matter and it's sad that you seem to think it is.
Try and keep you racial slurs to a minimum (or better none at all) keep in mind that many out there get hurt by words like that and the fact that you would still use words like that despite the fact that you know it is hurting others shows a great lack of maturity and respect. Try and be more attentive and careful regarding what you say.

Any racial slur in the vicinity of any of my 8 characters will be immediately reported to OS by me and I'll clap, clap, clap and cheer when the racist is banned.

._. sometimes i wish people would be banned for not reading the ToS
Rules of conduct sub section d
d) You may not use any unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene, harmful, defamatory, vulgar, harassing, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable language toward any other player, in any language as deemed inappropriate by support personnel. The availability of a profanity/language filter is not to grant permission or license to use such language in any form.

This is probably the most biased rant I've ever heard. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. GMs don't, and can't take action against someone without valid proof. If someone offends you it's your responsibility to report them. If you got suspended for retaliating against someone, and they didn't get suspended, it's because you didn't take any action to report them.
Secondly, just because someone doesn't get banned for KSing or whatever doesn't mean the issue is being ignored. Players get a certain amount of warnings before action is taken on their accounts. If everyone got banned every time they made a mistake no one would be playing this game right now.
Lastly, GMs can and do get FIRED for giving unfair advantages to certain players. I don't know about Outspark, but many companys have teams that monitor what their CSRs do. Friends or no friends, they are all customers and as a result should (not always, as I said) be treated the same way.
Please refrain from stating your personal opinions as fact. Just because you don't understand the system doesn't mean it is wrong.

Viet, you need to understand that profanity, racialism, vulgarity etc. is offendable to people. Here are the reasons why Outspark does not accept that kind of conduct:
1. some of it is disrespectful 2. racialism is illegal 3. it offends 4. it can put a bad influence on the younger players(even though the age 13 is still considered young). Vulgarity can lead to mind spoilage on younger players and also sexual predators could be involved. If parents found out that their children are being mind spoiled by the bad conduct they are getting from other players on Fiesta, Outspark could get sued and possibly shut down. In conclusion, you seriously need psychological help.

If you want to bring the community down by using racial slurs, then maybe should consider "Maplestory" It has a lot of negative people that harass you. Guess how Maplestory got that way? It all started with something innocent as quote on quote racial slurs.
