I mainly nuke pvp, should i switch to mage?

Maybe my team was just doing good, but i found it more effective (for my play style at least) to just nuke the hell out of the battle field. Now, i like having heals for pve, but besides that, should make a mage? or is there something better about holy strike that i dont know?

The difference is not in holy strike but in heal.
If you feel that you need to sacrifice heal for a lot more damage then yes, switch to mage.
