Is there anyway to increase element resistence without crazy sub items? (ala the fire resist neclace/earring you get from contest) In PvP I have plenty of physical defense but magical defense is rock bottom! Anyone have ideas?

Everyone's elemental defense is low, it's not just warriors.
Belts, earrings, rings, necklaces all add to elemental defense but unfortunately they're pretty rare drops, and even if you get one to drop it might not be the element you want.
You can also reinforce your armor with Elementirium, but the element you get, as well as the bonus you get, is random. The most common bonus on armor though is elemental defense. It's a small boost, though - +2 for a flawed elementirium.
Either way, your elemental defense is still going to be much lower than physical defense.

If you're wearing equipments that raise elemental resistances, the only 'other' way to enhance your element defense is to rise dex. This does work for any class, but bear in mind, the DEX will only amplify what resistances you already have, so if you do not have any elemental defense to begin with, DEX will be utterly worthless.
With that being said, it would take a lot of dex for you to reap the rewards so think carefully before deciding to go this route as it may hinder your power.
