Ok, i was invited, have played until lvl 25 and am now here to give the population who wasnt invited...some feeback.

For the most part, it is a decent game..BUT all there is to do...is grind some...then grind some more, and some more again.

Generally in games i actually dont mind grinding, but in this one, its quite annoying..

The skill system is flawed, i am lvl 25 and still have lvl 1 skills, why? not because i didnt make them stronger or anything, but because you cant. There are no skill points. The way you get your skills stronger is simply by lvling up your character, then when you get to "X" lvl, you get a new book, and use it, simple as that.

I have been using the same attack skill ever since i got to lvl 16.

You only get 1 stat point per lvl (most of the time. every 5 or 10 lvls being an exception) and putting your str up by 1 really does nothing (same with all the other stats)

From lvl 10-25, i dont feel very much poweful at all. I still have the same HP, almost the same attack power, and everything else.

Mage seem to be the best class (once again) but more then ever before, Rouge (which i am) totally suck..

All in all, i can honestly say, i am a little disappointed, and this game didnt meet my expectations.

GIVE IT A GO! you might like it, but if your expecting something like RO, then look else where, this isnt like RO at all, and doesnt feel like it (it did at first). Well, good luck to all, and hopefully you get invited soon. I doubt i will play much more.

If you have been invited then check the troubleshooting section to answer your problem. I had a problem with a black screen after creating my character, which was fixed by updating my video cards driver. (It needs right up to date stuff, the driver I downloaded was a September 18th 2007 release.)

As for as SOS goes, I'm kind of disappointed with the amount of time spent sitting. I'm a Rouge too, though I'm only level 20..I'm disappointed in the class at this stage. It IS a pain in the butt. And there is a ton of grinding involved to do anything. I hope, HOPE things get easier into the higher levels like 30 or something. :x Because I like the idea of being an Assassin.

Might try with a second character fighter...maybe the game will be easier if you have the classic tank to level with. x.x

ah yes, QFT. again, it is only close beta, theres still hundreds of features not implemented yet. maybe they didn't expect people to level that fast? :P

as for the stats, i guess it was for the long-run. from an equipment description i see, i assumed that you can go beyond lv 100 (or was it stated already?) so maybe at higher level stats will become more significant?

i have to agree with you that currently mage is the "better" class around, compared to rogue and stuff.

sad to see you in disappointment, but i hope you will be back once the game gets better!

My biggest issue is with the skill system, its completely crap, lol. All games should have skill points, it adds to the complexity and makes people do alot of different htings. It being like this puts you down a single path that you dont have a choice through, doesnt make sense to me..

well to be more "single path" they even tell you what kind of equipment you should wear at certain lv lol. check out the SoS guide > "What item should i wear"

but i think they'll add skillpoint system for this. notice the small number on the corner of the skill? i guess thats the lv.
