Do these Rank of PvPs do anything for the moment?

I'm a Rank : Level 8 Trainee

What does it go by?The "REP"= Reputation level?

It is based on your rep level, and as far as I know it's just for bragging rights.

As far as I can tell, they aren't used for anything specifically right now. Maybe later on it might be useful though.
