Is it me, or do you guys have party members too going afk just at the spots they will leech exp or time or something?
In my opinion, most players go afk when:
- In a party at abyss, and remain afk until kicked from the party. = leeching XP
- In a kingdom quest, and just before the boss they will come back. = leeching time.
- On a regular quest, and they come back when their quest is done. = leeching quest objectives
- In a dungeon like trumpy remains, and they come back when in danger. = leeching XP
- When farming items in seq. allocation. = leeching XP and items
- At the blue clover trumpies license = leeching weapon license
...Or any other moment other people can do work for them. These people say they'll be afk for afew sec, a minute, 5 minutes... but usually will stay afk as long as they can leech.
I don't say this to ALL people, because some people REALLY go to the toilet or doorbell or something.. but there are alot of people anoying me this way!
Tell me your opinion about that.

lol yeah I had this once in abyss
Player; "brb" *shrooms*
Party; "ok"
20 min pass.
Party; "Is he comming back? O.o"
Party; "Dunno, kick him until he's back?"
Party; "ok"
Player; "BACK! sorry it took long"
*5 min later*
Player; "Sorry I gotta brb again" *shrooms"
Again after we are about to kick him he 'suddenly' is back again. :/

Three ways to handle this:
Nice: Tell him/her, "I'm sorry, but we're trying to grind and we need a party member that's going to be available to help us. We're going to give your spot to someone who will contribute a bit more to the party."
To the point: Kick from party.
Evil: Kick from party and kill as a team.

This is a HUGE problem in many, many KQs. I know in Bijou, we used to have KQ Police and even got the GMs to say leeching KQs was a bannable offense if done enough times. Lots of work for that one, though. You have to screen them leeching, the GM'd watch them leeching, they'd get warned, if they keep leeching they'd get a temp ban, if they persist, they'd get banned. I miss those days.

I understand being away for 5 mins, but at least update the people if any longer. If AFK longer, then just get out of party and log off. People should stay courteous to those they party with. Sheesh, you'd think that people would act mature.

If you feel like you're being taken advantage of, then give them a time limit. "If you're not back in 5 minutes and someone else needs a party, we're kicking you."
If they're PT master just quit the party and form another one without them. xD
Don't be afraid to be mean sometimes. People will walk all over you otherwise.

How can you screenie a leacher? For all the GM's know, they could've been just rest.

In KQs, sometimes they'll leech proudly (via shouts). Other times, it's the fact that the individual has been reported. OutSpark does investigate reports (that are submitted properly and don't seem outlandish). Mind you, one person's report of one KQ isn't going to be insta-ban. It takes a few times before a player is considered a pathological leech.
