I got a Aqua dev and a Earth dew, while farming herbs today, what are they used for?

And while I'm on the farming subject, is is better to change farming place now and then to increase the chases of getting items?

The only thing I've been able to find the dews useful for right now is for the lv30 Summoner job class change. (Mage -> Summoner).

Also, it's up to you whether you change where you mine or not. Some will say that it's more beneficial, others will say stay where you're at and that it doesn't matter.

I seem to get plenty of good items by just staying at one place while gathering stuff.

Changing does nothing, you get exactly the same results staying as u do moving.

Anything else is just myth.

I'm going to be a summoner so this interests me, how is it useful for them?

He said it all. Your question was replied. And yes, for become summoner, you'll need 5 of each dew (earth, wind, fire, aqua).

Is it common to be getting 5+ fails in a row? Is there some type of anti-shovel spamming that causes failure to come more frequently? Such as holding down a key or rapidly spamming one shovel after the next?
