I'm New. Anyone Got Advice?

Hey. I'm thinking about starting to play Fiesta. I just stopped playing FlyFF because it got boring. (Level 116 with godly equips isn't as fun as it sounds, rofl)

Anyways, before I joined, I just wanted to know if there are any things I should know before I started :)

Any things I should watch out for? Any advice? What server / Class is the best?

Each server is apparently known for different things. I'm trying out all of the servers just because XD On your account, you can have up to 4 character per server with 4 servers in total. This means that you can create up to 16 characters. If you want, they can all be male archers or mages or whatever you want. When I first joined, I joined Apoline because it was the first server on the list. I'm generally new to MMORPGs, so I thought that Apoline was the easiest. Little did I know that all of the servers are pretty much the same in difficulty, lol.

Anyway, there are many newbie guides on the forums. Some provide suggestions for stats while others help with item production skills. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in game (or the forums). I've met plenty of nice people who answer my questions in the towns. There are a few people who bring a negative vibe to the game, but people are generally nice.

Oh, and also:

1. Join an academy. Some academies provide rewards (money and/or items) from leveling. Plus you can meet new people. You can party with academy mates, and guildies may even help you if they have the time. After graduating from the academy (reaching level 40 while in academy), you're automatically in the guild. Just ask in academy chat for an admin to add you to the guild.

2. When you can, in town, ask if anyone is looking for an apprentice. As someone's apprentice, you can get rewards every 10 levels. You can only have one master, but I believe you can have multiple apprentices.

My advice is to play what seems interesting to you-- the rest will all fall into place in due time. Also, don't let jerk players get you down!

My advice to you DO NOT join Teva if your looking for a nice server join Bijou is what i reccomend I use to be proobly niceist guy ever...then i made the mistake of joining teva -.- good luck

There are four character classes:

Fighter:
Full END Tank - low damage,awesome defense and health, good for pve.
Full STR Damage Dealer - high damage, low defense and health, good for pvp.
Different Hybrid builds.

Cleric:
Full END Party Cleric - low damage, awesome defense and health.
Full STR Solo/Duo Cleric - high damage, low defense and health, good for pvp and pve.
Different Hybrid builds.

Archers:

Mages:
INT is the stat used by mages as it determines how strong they are.

Fiesta is pretty much a *party* based game, lots of quests etc.

As for server choice well apart from the players they are all an exact same copy so it just comes down to which server name you like better :P

IGNORE the above posters comments on Teva it is an awesome server. Just like in the real world there is good and bad but who you choose to associate with is what determines greatness.

Err.. you can still have high defense and hp with pure STR build

You also forgot about archers.

I'd recommend pure STR build, DEX will be useless because it doesn't matter if the mobs miss you or not if you kiting, plus, scrolls cover it, and you'll really suck at PvP (Especially 85+ because of BKs) with a DEX build.
