Ok, this is a one shot story, based on what happened to me in Bijou. I just tweaked it a bit so that it's a little more understandable. It was pretty funny. ^^ Italized words are whispers, and underline words are guild chat.
Setting: Sand hill, chatting with a friend in whisper. I'm sitting down.
Athemis (thats me..): (bored) well, you need help in any quest?
Friend: Nah, i'm pretty much good. Idk, wanna go to a KQ?
Me: wait, I gotta go afk for a sec.
Friend: again?!?
Me: sue me. I'm the self-proclaimed queen of random afks. >.<
Friend: This is why I make sure there is another damage dealer in my party when I'm with you...
Me: shush..*afks*
Me: *comes back* eh what? o.o
There is a mage there, sitting next to me, and at that moment, he is a little too close to my character...like..oh I don't know, really close..
Me: umm..hello? *moves a bit away for personal space*
Mage: Hi!! ^^
Me: Hiya..
Mage: Are you a real girl?
Me: kinda upfront with that question, aren't ya? o.o *whispers to friend from earlier* soo...ya busy?
Now he starts spamming friend invites. And I mean spam. Over and over and over..shooting 12 off at once
Mage: hey watch this. New skill!! *spams his aoe...which is a skill I've seen mages do for a long time*
Me: *trying to be nice* mm..pretty. ^^ *refusing friend invites.. >.>*
Mage: are you single?
Me: Uh...wait. Afking... *shrooms*
Mage: *spams his invites again*
Me: *not exactly afk..and whispering to friend* ok, I got another one.
Friend: huh?
Me: help me out here? *since I'm 'afk' I can't really delete those invites, can I?*
Friend: Ya sure. What's up?
Me: there is a desperate mage here. Make him go away plz >.< And I'm technically afk
Friend: ok...
So my friend comes over to my shroom, where this mage keeps talking to me trying to see if I'm really afk. He continues to spam his invites. Finally, he gets bored and shrooms next to me.
Friend: *coming from portal npc and running up to me* hey ath?
Mage: go away!!
Friend: huh?
Mage: She's mine. find your own gf.
Me: eh? Get rid of him.. >.>
Friend: She's a guy.
Me: Hey, I'm not...oh forget it. Whatever works.
Mage: No she's not. How would you know?
Friend: I know her..uh, him.
Mage: I don't believe you.
Friend: ok.. *whisper to me* what do you want me to do?
Mage: *spams his friend invites again*
Me: anything!
Friend: uhh...I have to go now...
Me: hey! no! don't you dare leave me like this! Get rid of him first!!
Mage: *rambling on which neither of us are paying attention to*
Friend: sorry.. >.< *logs off*
Me: aaak
Mage: hah! yeah thats right! go and log off!!
Me: >.>
Me: *guild chat* someone get this desperate male OFF MY BACK!!!
Guildie: o.o
Me: not a word..
Guildie: lol ok I'll help you. Where are you?
Me: Sand Hill. Pretend you're my boyfriend or something, since he's not logged in. Anything!
Guildie: Ok comin.
Me: *coming back from my 'afk'* ...how many times did you friend invite me?
Mage: lol a lot.
Me: I can see...*deletes invites*
Mage: *Starts begging, spamming, friend invite, whatever you wanna say*
Me: Jeez, don't you know what 'no' means? For the umpteenth time?
Mage: *spams*
Me: >.> *guild chat* where are you?
Guildie: comin >.<
Me: well hurry Q_Q
Yes, at any point in time, I could have just logged off, blocked him, afked again, or switch maps. But this happened during one of those maintenance where logging off won't allow you to log back in. I didn't want to leave just yet. Besides, I had a strong feeling that he'd just follow me into the next map...and blocking..he could start insulting me without me knowing it.
Guildie: *coming from portal NPC* Hi dear!
Me: Hiya!! ^-^
Mage: Dear?
Guildie: *pretending to be my bf* sorry I'm late.
Me: it's ok. lets go.
Mage: hey can I follow you? *spams invites again*
Me: *deleting invites* aaaaak
Guildie: *also getting spammed* >.> ok..uh, *blocks mage*
Me: that does it. I'm warring him! *looks at his guild* dang...he's academy....
Mage: *spamming*
Guildie: whats he saying?
Me: he has the nerve to ask for a plvl...>.> I'm gonna teach this guy some manners..ok, go to the abyss and wait for me.
Guildie: he's not gonna fall for that....
Me: we'll see.
Mage: *doing his spamming*
Me: ok, uh, listen, I uh, FIRST!! STOP SPAMMING!
Mage: *stops*
Me: If I plvl you in the abyss, will you leave me alone?
Mage: sure thing dear.
Me: *palmface* ok, follow me.
Guildie: *exits map*
Mage: Yeah that's right! Run off!! hah!!
Me: ... ok let's go.
I take him to the abyss, where he is still friend inviting me, and spamming. (just to let you know, blocking someone still allows them to friend invite)
*At the abyss*
Mage: uhhhh...what's he doing here? *points to guildie*
Me: take three guesses. *quits pt and attacks him >=D*
guildie: *starts chasing him*
Mage: AAAAAAARRGH!!!!!!!
He...scrolls. So at least he didn't die. After awhile, my guildie and I exits the abyss since we can't find him there.
Me: *whispers to mage* if that finally got that through your head, please go away and don't bother me again. *blocks*
Guildie: Coming from you, that was pretty mean...but truly hilarious.
Me: tch. If you knew what he was spamming, he was asking for it.
Yes yes, I usually will not do that sort of thing, but he was annoying the heck outta me. Besides, it's the abyss anything can happen.....anything..... ^^;;
