Game problems T.T

When i try to create a character the cahracter looks like white squares and i cant see it, then when i log in the screen is all black. i am running windows vista also could someone tell me if that is whats causing it?

I had a problem like this in another game and it was because my drivers were outta date. But I don't have much experience with vista though =(
