Does Dexterity increase Rogue/assassin-trapper Skill damage?
Or only soft/hard damage?

Is it an "of course"?
Number of games that point to a class as using stat x only to be found the stat doesn't effect skills is more then one...

Its not clear whether Dex increases Skill Damage and not just basic attacks damage.

* Strength increases Physical Attack Power, and affects the basic Attack Power of all melee classes except Rogues. Rogue's Attack Power is determined by Dexterity. The Warrior's and Monk's main stat.

* Dexterity affects Long Range Attack Power, Elemental Defense, and the basic Attack Power of Rogues and long range attack classes such as Archers. Allocating your points to Dexterity can reduce elemental damage received from enemies. The Archer's and Rouge's main stat.

* Intelligence affects Elemental Attack Power, maximum Mana, and the basic Attack Power of elemental attack classes such as Mages or Priests. The Mage's and Priest's main stat.

* Spirit affects maximum health, Physical Defense, and adds more defense points to your armors. You will naturally gain more health as your level is increased, but investing your points in Spirit adds more health points. Used as a secondary stat for all classes.

Attack Power..

If it effects skill damage then the 4 or 3/1 builds are the end all.
If it doesn't or very little then 4 and 3/1 are not as worthwhile. Something along the lines of max Spirit or maybe 1 intelligence/3 Spirit might be better for Skill use.

.....and Skills like *Blazing Blade*..is that an Elemental Attack?

You may be right.
Dexterity may be all that is needed and it does effect Skills.
You could just as easily be wrong as well though.

well i would think that all skills are an elemental attack when it says Water/fire/wind Dmg +x

Dex does increase basic attacks, not by a whole lot tho. After 3-5 points into dex your basic attack will increase. Im not sure how much of an impact it has on skills tho.

Depending on how you play.... a Rogue doesn't use basic attacks a whole hell of alot(mostly its PvE).
In PvP its usually an afterthought or in conjunction with skills.(Ie stun+soft attackx4+poison)

The stat description for DEX clearly states that Dex only adds to "the basic Attack Power of Rogues"
Which implies that it effects Soft Attack and Hard Attack but not skills.

Yeah and if so then Intelligence may have more of a benefit to a Rogue/Assassin/Trapper then DEX.

I will not be shocked to find that the Asian version of this already has determined DEX isn't the end all.
Until I see something though I'll just assume that DEX is all that matters.
