Well, I do know its bugged or what not, but Since everyone is starting to do it I hope they know how to do it right because losing players in a game is the cause of it shutting down. Here's what I learned from all the Students I've gotten. This is by far the best way to get students and help them which most of them would stay in game. By The Way when I say Menti = Students :)

--To Answer a few popular questions I always get.
1. How Many Menti do you have?
I don't Know the exact number, but I would say 300+ maybe more.
2. How many Are Online Right now?
I have a constant number of 10+ students at all times.
3. Can you stop Spamming?
Yes, I can and I have. I no longer require spams in helping people because I've found a better way by just chatting with them. And If there were any Spammers you can always blacklist them by Press N, Click Blacklist, and Type in their name.
4. Can you give me some items or money?
No, I'm actually really poor since I don't grind, so I don't have that much money. I may have novice quest items that I went and collected for you like a Rynx fur or Monkey drops, but that's it.
5. Do Menti Really Get more exp?
Yes, the student really gets 20% more exp even if the mentor is not online.
6. What Do being a mentor get you?
We get 40% of the exp the menti get, but the menti does not lose this 40% exp.
7. When Do I Lose My Mentor?
As a Student you will graduate from being under your mentor after you obtain your 2nd class. So Once you become a counter or shaolin ect you will lose your 20% exp bonus and your mentor will no longer get exp from you.
--Where To Find Novices--
-Channel 1 - For Some reason people always start off at the first channel... Maybe they think the more people in a channel the higher their chances of meeting somone
-The Beginning of the.... - This is the map where you first start off after making a new character. Be advise there's always someone here looking for menti.
-Popola Village - Of course everyone knows about this its the place where I first started spamming :P
-Maps around popola - Everyone of those maps are good because a novice training will always be happy to be bothered by someone who wants to start a conversation gets em away from the grind.
-FootHill - Plenty of novices here looking to kill Rynx and if you've got some fur you've got a menti. Be advise though there maybe many novices many may already have a mentor.
-Ozi Village/Peach and pig hunting areas - If you're really desperate and everywhere is full this is the next best place.
--Now with that out of the way I'll start with my basic method.--
*First you find your target a novice of course :) You want to call out their name because it will single them out and they would most likely respond.
*Next you would want to tell them your purpose right away. I use the Line "I'm here to mentor and help."
----- Another Important Note unless you know the Novice is a total novice fresh from the start you would want to ask if they have a mentor already otherwise you would just waste time.-----
--Most Important Step--
*Next you would want to check out their stats, if they've added more then 2 stats and if one of those two stats weren't SPR, I would say "From your stats, you've messed up." I would actually say more if the macro had allowed me to, but this gets to the point and works.
*After telling them they either messed up their stats or if you see they added their stats perfectly ask what class they want and explain it to them the popular stat builds ect. ((Many Don't Even Know what Classes are their so you have to have a list on a macro of all 6 classes))
*Now this is when you ask THE question and explain to them about how mentoring helps them with more exp and how mentoring helps you. After they add you which the normally do. You would want to explain to them how to start a group chat and PM you if they have questions.
*Now this is an important part if you do not wish your student to constantly asking questions that are extremely simple. I Always tell them to Press Q and do all the quests to gain all skills, exp, and items. This not only helps you, but them as well because you've taught them how to take care of themselves instead of just giving them what they need.
*After all of this I would now ask for praise ;) I ask "Was I helpful? Praise me!" then go "Right Click Me and Click Praise!" This is how I've gotten all my praise =) Well besides trading with friends.
--Things Not To Do
*Spamming. Yes I know I do it but I've learned better. Spamming only gets you yelled at and reported which doesn't help as much as you would think. Following my method I get many more students compared to when I was spamming.
*Never Offer to give gold or anything, only offer if you think its worth it because many of them quit after the first day or two, and also you can be scammed if someone decides to make a new char just to get your gold, so its just a waste and only creates a competition between other Mentors. Just be nice and you will rake in the experience. ((If a student ask where to get an item tell them, then offer it to them, but never give it to someone who asks for the item because they are just moochers.))
*Name calling or anything while speaking with a novice who is well lets say less experienced with MMOs. It doesn't help and you'll most likely lose him as a student.
*Never Get Frustrated with a student because why get angry over one student and ruin the chances of others has from learning from you. If they are a moocher just tell them to find someone else to mentor them or if they are rude to you by calling you names ect. Just agree with them and tell them you are a Noob or you are stupid it always shuts them up :)
*Never try and steal students from another mentor unless you find the other mentor doing a bad job, then offer the novice the choice of switching to you, but don't offer gold or anything.
*"Mentor Me Please" Afk Playrooms are kinda pointless since most people are too untrusting and probably don't even know how to add you, but if by some random chance you do get added it'll only hurt your reputation because people will be all over you like you never helped me and I added you or people would start saying you're nothing but a lazy leecher who doesn't even help their menti. ((Although if you were not afk, but inside that playroom. It actually helps you to find curious novices who wonders in sometimes))
--Bugs with Mentor System
1. Disappearing students - After a student adds the mentor if the mentor logs off and back on the student would no longer be on the Mentor's list, but would still be on the Student's list. This Can be fixed by having the student log off and back on as well.
2. Students crashing Mentor - Students with names that are 14 letters or longer will crash the mentor because of the message you get is too long only way to fix this atm is to have the menti delete the mentor.
--Conclusion (feels like I'm writing a paper for a class zzZZz)
I Hope this guide helped everyone and please post any comments you may have... Keep getting those players to stay so I can get more Praise!
Well, that's All I got for now, but if I think of more I'll add it in later.
