View Full Version : Can't login anymore after installing SoS

Just like the title says. Been playing Fiesta yesterday just fine, I installed SoS which also created a Fiesta subfolder in the SoS folder. Now If I try to play Fiesta the launcher appears, I type my login data, the box disappears, then reappears and nothing happens. 0_o

Yeah i was playing just fine earlier then the power went off and now its doing the same thing its doing to you.

A little addition: If I try to start the launcher in my Fiesta Directory (instead of going via start -> Outspark -> Fiesta) it givs out an error message:
Runtime Error:
...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way. Please contact application's support team for more information.
after that windows throws another error message, about the program being closed due to problems. Launching via star still works (guess that's the one in the SoS folder), but gives above results of not logging in.

Noone has any solution to this launcher conflict? (I guess it is one, since there are two different launchers) I want to login again. SoS works fine... Fiesta on the other hand... Nada... So if anyone got any idea, please tell, pm, or post... Seems several people are suffering from it...

Still no changes over here.
Now I tried copying the fiest_path file to the launcher directory of SoS and the Fiesta directory of SoS to no avail. Copying the launcher folder from SoS to Fiesta (of course backuping the original launcher) also brought no succsess. I'm out of ideas right now. Anyone has any idea left?

Now I tried my last idea: deinstalling Fiesta and reinstalling it after a fresh download into the SoS Directory, so Fiesta is really in the Fiesta subfolder (Seems the Installer installs a folder for the Launcher and one each for the games), but still to no avail. Start launcher to play Fiesta, type my login settings, it checks the pw, for a split second a whoite screen appears... So perhaps something with the lauincher itsel?
