Hello! I have been trying to run Fiesta on my computer for months now, and it won't work. =(

I believe it is an XTrap error because I tried another game by a different publisher that also had XTrap. It caused the same exact problem that I've had with both Fiesta & WindSlayer. Is there anything I can do? I did send a ticket to a CSR about a month ago, and the CSR didn't even know what to do about the problem. Is there anything I can do? =(

I always seem to get the "Blue Screen of Death" (as some people call it). You know what I mean, the blue screen that appears with all of the white symbols on it? Well, that's what I get EVERY SINGLE TIME I run Fiesta, WindSlayer, or that other game by the different publisher.

At the moment, I can only access Fiesta on my Mom's laptop. I'd still like it if it would work on this desktop.

yeah, i have the same problem and oddly enough, i can only get onto fiesta on my laptop as well ^^
although i've found that for some bizzar reason that fiesta will run on my computer every 20 or so tries without the blue screen (i'm not recommending this)

1) i disabled my anti-virus through system configuration and still got the error so that's not the problem
2) i've done a clean install of fiesta
3) i've tried renaming my x-trap folder so it would "update"
4) my directx is up-to-date
5) i do not have malware, viruses, adware, hacks, etc.

if you could DancingSimmer, reply with your operating system of your desktop
i wonder if its xp pro or some version of windows vista home premium...

lets face it, this is not a new problem and from what i can tell, outspark has not done much about it. i have seen maybe two posts for this problem but they did not help. it might be just me but shouldn't being able to run the game be a higher priority then fixing some minor in-game bugs?
i must say, i'm rather disappointed with the amount attention this problem has received

I'm rather upset about this too.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, btw.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, btw.

called it ^^

i'm working on finding an answer myself although i fear that this is out of my reach
and i must say, x-trap reacts rather unusually

i can get the game to work for about a day or until i restart my computer (whichever comes first). i have to do something each time though to prevent the blue screen and each time it has to be something different. so naturally, i'm running out of ideas.

all right, give this a shot

1) run disk cleanup (clean everything)
2) run disk defragment
3) reboot
4) be sure that you have nothing running that would have x-trap get annoyed (and just for the sake of trying, if you have google desktop, the first time you try this, close it)
5) launch the game but, before it loads all the way, click the big red X in the top right (close the game)
6) relaunch the game and try playing

let me know if this helps
