ok for a beast master if you summon an animal does it automatically attack what ever it can find or do you have to control them? and while the animal is attacking can you attack with your bow and arrows as well? and when you summon an animal is it true that they have to kill the animal before they can attack you?

For what I saw while rider was once in the arena:
It doesnt attack automatically, you send it to attack.
Yup, you can attack while your beast is attacking.
Depends on the beast, if you hit its master, it will disappear.

What lightcat said is correct
Their is a skill called "Beast Attack" (Ironic) that makes your beast attack, you buy the skill once u hit lvl 30 and turned beast master.
