its bin day two, leveling from 1-15 easy because of the tut quests, then from 15-16 was the start of the downfall of grinding, for every hard earned level, you only get one stat point (and 3 on a level thats a multiple of 10 i believe), alto i dislike this system, its pretty simple... but currently the only thing thats keeping me grinding is to class up so i can test for bugs in the tier 2 classes....
personally, i love the style of anime sprites in a 3d environment (an acquired taste from playing RO), props to outspark for that, and the effects are pretty nice too. im finding it hard to believe this is going to be free to play because of this hark work put into this game (unlike fiesta, that game was... well lets just say... kinda tacked together by weak nails)
The gameplay is very much like ro's, but thats normal, the traditional point and click while using f1-f10, i like the fact that if your targeting something, and you cast a target skill, it casts on your target (w/o making you re-target), but the downside to that is, you have to dubble click a monster to normal attack it (this gets really annoying for the non-magic user classes)
community: props to the closed beta community, you guys are awesome, i only wish a community like this would stay for ob and commercial release. As for partying, i think it would be nice to increase exp gain if your in a party or something, at times i actually find partying repulsive because once the exp is split, it takes so much longer to level up and will only make the grinds longer...
Reports...
i think you should have someone double check the spelling and text in the game (if you don't have already), some mistakes i found where...
when you try to talk with an npc and your too far away, your get the error "Unable to talk. Out of rance"
and when doing the 6500wt(why the hell is it friekn 6500wt!?)
the click to continue box states
"wait until he is done reading"
i thought peter was writing to a she, or am i wrong?
when you highlight a stat, it doesn't tell you what it dose (usually it will tell you by highlighting stats, some stats don't highlight anything)
i know these are small things, but still, text bugs are still bugs
Suggestions
When you move your mouse of the stat, i think it should tell you what the stat dose
When you move your mouse over a stat, highlight what the stat increases/decrease even if you have 0 stat points
overall 9/10 a few flaws here and there, but still props to you outspark for making this game
