Re-Roll If You Don't Have a Mentor?

Okay, couple of points. Please tell me if these are incorrect:


If you have a mentor, you get an xp bonus on kills.
The xp bonus is percentage-based, so it never becomes trivial.
Once you upgrade from novice, you can't add a mentor.


Did I get that right?

If so, it suggests to me that if you don't have a mentor and you are beyond novice stage, you might as well bite the bullet and re-roll now because you will have a permanent long-term disadvantage in leveling.

If that's true, we might want to petition to allow mentors at any level. Anyone else in this boat? It's kinda pointless playing my monk now. He gets less xp in Balderan than my priest who is actually a higher level.

No,No,no.They shouldn't let any levels change it.Only change it if they're a Novice and Novice only.
iDon't want a bunch of 1st/2nd Jobbed[Class already taken] having the an unique ability that Novices have.

I'm just concerned that a Novice who advances before getting a mentor will be permanently handicapped. That seems wrong.

Nope. My priest still gets the bonus. Maybe *that's* the problem. It doesn't end when it should.

I ended up adding sept as my mentor so he would shut up :o...
Turned out he was cool when he didn't spam. >.>

Yeah man i too have been thinking lately about deleting my Rogue and re-doing it and adding a Mentor for a permanent 20% exp bonus. I added a Mentor on my 2nd novice and the exp boost stayed even after i changed class to Archer.

But is it a glitch that the 20% exp bonus stays in effect? Coz if it is, then it will be fixed eventually right? And if they do that i would have deleted my Rogue for no reason lol

although i have been inviting and coaching new players to mentor me, i felt that the mentor's exp gain and mentee's 20% experience gain should stop. Maybe after level30? Since the game is in he new stage we still doesn't know if the mentor system will stop after they changes to their 2class job.

It says in the description its for novices, so I'm guessing that its supposed to be only for novices. If they don't remove this glitch where it lasts past novice, that would be stupid.

Who says it's a glitch? What would be the point in having +20% exp in a period that takes you a whole 4 hours to get past?
