Im sick of how the GMs keep us in the dark. everytime i ask a GM when they are going release the maps they either ignore me or give me some half *** reply like "later" I love this game but starting to hate outspark. i for one am tempted to quit windslayer and go play iah's dragonica... ive also read that they do this to ALL their games  something about fiesta being capped at lvl 80 for like forever and they pretty much kept lying to the players delaying it....
anyways what they need to do is at least tell us WHY they removed the maps, cause as far as i can tell they were working fine in CB.... this game gets boring quick as it is because theres not that much content and the only thing to do is pvp... and that can get boring quick because we are all so low lvled with not many skills, not to mention the mining and herbing in this game is a freakin joke and not fun at all.
alright rant is done... all im asking is for a little more information on your future plans for this game...

Yeah buddy im in the same boat as you. Fiesta has been capped at lvl 79 for like half a year but i heard they raised it to lvl 89 a couple of months ago. On Solstice they literally promised us a "BIG" update in December. It never came, they said its coming in January, it never came, they delayed it to February and its finally coming this week (HOPEFULLY)
I have been sick of Outspark's BS a long loooong time ago. I just grew used to it and stopped expecting good things from them. i just continue playing having fun with my friends while waiting for them to do things right when they plan to release new content.
It's like they have the potential to host great games but they always turn the games into crap with delayed updates and feeding us sparkcash BS.
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it except to rant to let out your frustration. Other then that all we can do is wait for them to implement the content (which they always seem to screw up)

Hmm, i don't want to be mean, but as good as Outspark is, this is their weak spot. it's like this with most of their games, and yes, i do agree that they are a bit slow with their information. i am not going to try to say stuff like "oh, be patient, it will come soon." i have seen way too much of that, and you all already know that as well. i do think that they could keep us way more informed than the do now. 1 progress post a month doesn't really cut it for most players, which has been expressed multiple times in the BS forums. I think thier flaw with this is that they need to stop their frequency with releasing games. they tend to push all their attention over to one game, ignoring the other games that they have. To fix this, Outspark either needs more employees or split up teams to different game departments. with that being said, i hope Outspark takes this into a bit of consideration.
This will probably be unread by the majority of the community/Outspark Staff, but i am expressing what i think.
Indeed.

I have been pondering about this all day and I keep coming back to this picture:
Outspark's main goal (as most video game companies) is to make profit. This they have made with Fiesta a long time ago (don't know when didn't play it). But then they decieded to implement more games.
Now this is where it gets weird. They have succefully released a few games and their library is pretty impressive with original content like Project Powder and Windslayer. So where does this go wrong you ask? Well simply put, I don't think they are making a profit.
Look at Project Powder, the community was great and then what happened. They did not implement anything. The first thing I'd expect would be micropayments. Like add new map for x amount of sparkcash or some cool item for x amount of sparkcash. This would mean they would get a little refund of all the money they spend putting the game live. But they just dropped it dead.
Moving along we find Blackshot(didn't play this one) and from what I heard it's just another game that didn't get enough interest.
For some reason I think there is some marketing "genius" operating Outspark who will only keep updating the games that get enough interest. But since they don't inform people enough this method is flowded.
Let me explain my motives: years ago I played a fun game called Hover Board, an online 2D racing game that really took skill to master, stunts to perform gave you a small boost and items were there to shoot eachother off track. Then one day there is an announcement: "We are shutting down Hoverboard cause there is no profit made", This bloody marketing "genius" didn't realise that to make profit you need to charge people for your service. But since everything was free THERE WAS NO BLOODY PROFIT TO BE MADE.
I'm thinking there is also a "genius" behind Windslayer who is having problem figuring out how to make a profit out of this game. Take into account that implementing micro-payments does include the investment of creating in-game items.
My guess is that since he cant figure it out the GM's are back to hosting Fiesta since that is Outspark's main source of income.
What can I say? I think we're screwed!

There is some insight about updates for WS in that thread.
They are working on getting more maps added, but due to legal/corporate issues, they are not at liberty to discuss in detail. And that's usually the issue with many of their responses that users are not pleased with. Outspark cannot always give you the information you want because they simply are not allowed to because they are bound by a NDA.
Remember, WS is still new and early on in the stages of OB. Not all changes and additions will be made quickly. They have to go through the Developer's first.

You're quite welcome ^^.
The company is going through a lot of changes lately and is probably one of the reasons why there has been a lack of presence on the forums. But hopefully once things calm down and get organized the communication will start back up again.

Just to make you guys feel a little better.. there's a game I joined about a year ago on the first day it came out. The closed beta ended pretty quickly. Since then, we have heard absolutely nothing from the people in control of things (except "we haven't heard from the developers"). Like I said, It's been almost a year. When I see people complaining about this taking a very short while, I can't help but get a little annoyed because really you guys probably don't know what it's like to wait without any interaction from the staff. Yeah it's taking some time, but they probably have a very good reason for why it's taking some time. At least they still interact in game and on the forums, they just can't release the info, and everything will come soon enough. You really think they'll keep us at this stage for so long? I've already stopped playing and I'm sure many others have, they have probably already notice a drop in user activity. It's not like they've abandoned the game.

Did you play GnG Windslayer?
Because I did, and the event announcer was depressing considering they had one event and it was over a year before they closed, same with updates.

iReally don't understand why y'all are mad.
No one is forcing you to stay.If you like to go then do as you like.
iGet it.Blah,blah about the maps.
The GMs simply know they're coming up soon or don't know when.
But the fact of 90% is.It WILL BE COMING just not expected as soon.
So,you people will have to wait.
So,stop complaining about."iNeed to level up.Give me new maps/monsters." Its your fault for leveling up so quickly.
Hey,iGot an idea! Why not make a guide and be known for something good and helping instead of just adding more and more to the "Complain[er] List."

Nope @_@ That probably wont happen for this one, or at least it's too early to say we've been abandoned.

lvling so quickly? it takes less then 48 hrs to get to lvl 25.... i personally dont wanna wait so long cause i did the same thing to chaos online waiting like 5 months for them to raise the lvl cap from lvl 40... and when they did i got bored of the game within a couple days..... so basicaly i waited almost half a year being lvl 40 bored, waiting for them to raise the cap only to quit within the next few days. i just wanna play this game, get to about lvl 49 to see if it sticks to me... if not, i quit and move to the next game >_> game already seems pretty dead as the servers are all "low" every hr of the day. and server 1 is sometimes normal/medium.

LOL.
The thing about waiting for a long time is that your anticipation of what you were waiting for dies down after you start to lose hope in expecting it's arrival. Then, when it arrives, your hardly as excited, and obviously you lose interest. I could name a couple games this happened with- S4, Ragnarok, Asda, and Rumble. But hell, this is a business, and they're just going to market to whoever sticks around.

That is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. Leveling up so quickly? I go to work everyday except for weekends so i only have time to play Wind slayer when i get home at like 5pm. i play it for 1 or 2 hours. Within just a week and a half from open beta i am level 24 and the quests started being about Amakusa maps. Does that sound like leveling up very quickly to you? getting to lvl 20+ is so easy and only takes a couple of days. Even my 8 year old brother plays this game and is still in the middle of learning it yet he's already lvl 18, only 6 lvls away till our current maps become outdated. He barely knows how to play yet and he can only play after he finishes his homework. So only plays like 1 hour at most since we have to share the computer. Does that sound like fast leveling to you? lol
The fact of the matter is level 20+ is easy and quick to get to. What are we going to do while we wait for the slow outspark team to decide to finally open up new maps? spend countless hours in pvp? Keep grinding to 30+? Make another char lvl 20+? I guarantee you can do all 3 of those and new maps still wouldnt be open yet. That's how slow Outspark is, not just on this game but all the others aswell.

wow chaos tell us how you really feel... Anyway one thing Outspark keeps saying is that this game is PVP oriented not PVE. so yes playing PVP is exactly what they want you guys to do... :p

This game is great, but I already see whats going to happen- People are gonna start losing interest before they can spontaneously release anything new. And the people who stay wont be saying "Yay", but they will be say "About time". And after that, then next delay will cut that population in half. it will steadily rise, but It'll be on the verge of being barren for a while.
Its a little difficult to enjoy PvP when its clear that half the game wont be available to us unless we go SouthPark grinding style. (luls 10,000,000 forest boars until lvl 50)

Yeah, thats pretty fast.I'm guessing you grind a lot before but it could also be how you leveled up.Partying,Alone.Blah,blah. So,in conclusion. You proved me,right..<.<
OutSpark runs a lot of games. So,just be patient. If you want to help out.Make things go smoother by making a Guide. Then you can make stuff with people and see how far it gets you. I've done it on another game.Helped me a lot .

not really the lvling is uber fast in this version >.> specially if you played the GnG version it's like i levled my warrior up to lvl 24 in two days -.- in GnG it took at least a week of heavy grinding to get there lvling goes really fast in this game so don't say that chaos is lvling fast....
i just want to be able to get to lvl 30 and get my class change and then kill things in pvp ._.

it too slow. if u cant get the interest of the player, u lost the hope for them. Such reasons are quite lame. Most of the stuffs should be done since it OB and not alpha. It will mean a loss of income too.
