All monster cards give a 10% exp bonus from the monster of the card. Like for example you will gain a 10% exp bonus from Monkey Sergeants from this guy's card.

so what happens when your level is too high for a monster and u get only 1 exp from them? the card will give u 1.1exp?

Yes, but then it rounds it to the nearest whole number.
