A bug isn't a virus beta-testing wise. It's something the game programmers overlooked,or accidently left out or screwed up,like...there is a dragon in the game, and when it's wings are closed, you can see through part of them. This is something the programmers(GMs,gamemasters)overlooked or the coding messed up.So to answer the question,no,these "bugs" won't hurt your computer. These beta tests are for people to report bugs so that when the game comes out,it is clean and doesn't have any mishaps,so playing this beta test is comepletly comeputer safe.
