I'm an archer and people recommend me to put have +25 SPR before the other stats like DEX and STR. My question is.. When people say +25, do they mean 25 total (the base stat + my own stat points) or only my own stat points? If they really mean +25 from my own stat it seems kinda waste to SPR.

When it says 25SPR it's 25 free points, as in the points you get each time you level.

For each SPR point, you get 0.2% crit, so 5 of them gives you 1% crit. After the first 25, the % crit decrease to 0.1% until 61, where after you get only 0.05%

That's why 25 free stats points in SPR is good, it gives you 5% crit.

But, you should add them later. Don't start by putting your points in SPR, start by putting them in STR (or DEX if you wish). Because the crit gain in damage is really only noticeable when you get past the 600dmg on mobs.
