Are the character going to be deleted?

Like the title says are the going to be deleted after the beta?


This is the first 2D game that i kinda like


If the are going to be deleted after beta

Will the beta players that had a character with a lvl of 10 or 15 or 20 or higher do the get something like spark cash?
Or special items?

It kinda sux if we need to make new characters after beta

I don't think Outspark has officially said whether or not the characters created in CB will be erased when it goes out of beta.

If the characters do get deleted, my guess would be that all CB testers would get something for participating (like an accessory in game or something). If not, then well, you just have a head start on everyone else.

It'll be a long period of Open Beta though. You can expect Open Beta to last over a year. I heard that Fiesta has been in Open Beta for over a year and a half now. Don't let the fact that Windslayer is in Open Beta discourage you from playing.

they deleted them in Closed Beta, and they said that they wouldn't delete characters after Open Beta. most game companies don't delete their characters after Open Beta anyways.

No, characters wont be deleted after OB, it said so in an email from Outspark that i got for Closed beta testing

Well we want to see proof that you got this mail saying so.


As for my opinon, there will be a wipe after open beta.

Why? Pretty simple

Balance characters levels *so this way the veterans won't have an upperhand in leveling but exprience only
Fair Gameplay (Especially for the new characters)


And many I can list, but to get to the point, I strongly believe there will be a wipe

why would that be fair? i dont think wiping a years worth of play or more is fair at all. those who earn a high level deserve to keep there characters so i don't think they will wipe after open beta.

I got this after Closed Beta ended. It says "all players returning to the game will need to create a new character to play (these are the characters we are all playing right now); These will not be deleted during or after Open Beta" (Open Beta being the stage the game is currently in).

Personally I've never played a game that wiped characters after the Open Beta period.

Hah, I highly doubt a wipe from OB -> FR, especially from outspark.
If that happens, I'm not doing it all over again.
