Alright, let me clarify to you all how the mentor system works.
Inorder to make someone your mentor, you must be Novice. After the Novice gains 1st class, they do not lose their mentor, but if they delete the mentor, they will not be able to get a new one. One avatar can only have 1 Mentor, but from what I have seen, the number of menti that an avatar can have has no limit.
While the mentor is online, the menti will receive 20% bonus experience for each kill they make, this does NOT work vice-versa. The difference between the bonus experience the menti receives and the original experience that would have been gained without the mentor is received by the Mentor as experience.
MENTI DO NOT RECEIVE EXPERIENCE FROM THE KILLS OF THE MENTOR.
Even after the menti is 1st class, the mentor will continue to gain experience from their kills so long as they are online.
EDIT- After a menti becomes 1st class, they no longer get the 20% experience bonus from the mentor. The mentor however will continue to leech experience from the mentis kills. (This needs to be fixed! so that either the menti continues to get the bonus experience or the mentor stops gaining experience off the menti's kills)

If anyone knows Nameless, which most people do since he is the currently the highest level avatar in the game right now (side from the level 99 GMs) at level 42 when I last checked. He's been leveling completely off multiple Menti.
