Delete Virtualized regkey... help!

I downloaded the game, and wen i open it to install it, the installation client flashes nonstop and it just keeps saying "Delete Virtualized regkey" and the installation bar will not move up. help.

Download a program like Tune Up Abilities 2007 (hacked, or buy it) or another program which can run a registry cleaner/fixer like CCleaner, and clean your registry. I believe that there might be something wrong with your registry. Although I can't be certain, this is just an assumption.

I ran into the same problem and found this forum thread. I tried CCleaner. It doesn't seem to work. What can I do? I can't delete that stupid virtualized regkey unless I know where it is...

You will have to go locate it manually in your Registry. If you DON'T know what you're doing, you can potentially delete a wrong string and corrupt your entire Operating System or user information.

I have done a search, and the Virtualized regkey has to do with IE.

Should be located here:

Start Menu>> Run>> Regedit>> My Computer>> HKEY_USERS>> S-1-5-21-1614895754-1957994488-839522115-1000>> Software>> Microsoft>> Internet Explorer>> Explorer Bars>> {C4EE31F3-4768-11D2-BE5C-00A0C9A83DA1}>> Files Named MRU

All that will be within the confines of the box on the left. Once you get there, files will be open on the right side of the box, look for ooo and it should be your Virtualized regkey.

Please be very carefull when in the registery...

You can end up ruining your PC if you delete the wrong thing...

This is a new issue, but if you have alot of 3rd programs you can create conflicts with games trying to run.

You may have to get a systems administrator to fix this issue.

I did not have the Explorer Bars branch at all in the registry. My Solution (running on Vista) was to change the properties of the installer to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 and run it as administrator.

Running as Administrator without the compatibility setting did not work

The installer of this game froze during this delete virtualized regkey thing, and after I ended the task and rebooted, my entire Windows Vista installation was destroyed.

The makers of this game have made fatal mistakes in their software. No installer should delete ANYTHING from my registry during an installation.

I had to reinstall the operating system after many attempts to resolve the problems that ensued after making an attempt to install this game.

GUYS on vista if your receiving the message delete virtualized regkey just right click the installer go to properties,then to the tab named compatability : Select Run this programme in compatability mode for: Windows XP(service Pack2) Apply and it should let you install
MAKE SURE your user is in full control of files. IE Right click fiesta install Security Tab : Full Control select this for your user.This worked for me now i can play ssjgoku Bijou!

Lo que yo hice es ir a inicio y en la parte de buscar le das regedit y enter y le das permitir, luego buscas la llave del registro(la que parpadea en el instalador)la mia fue algo como S-1-5-21-aqui 10 digitos-otros 10-otros 10-1000-Classes y le di clic para que se vean sus ramas luego encontre VirtualStore y la borre.
Reinicie el instalador y paso esa parte el problema fue que me salio otro error que decia que no podia instalar el archivo BS algo y le di anular

Soy yo de nuevo para decirles que funciono borrando la clave del registro que te dice en el instalador y que mi otro error no era nada solo cambie el lugar de instalacion y ya todo bien

What DSspark said for vista is right
go to properties have it run its compatibility as windows xp(service pack 2)
then run the install as an administrator

I was going through the systems, but I couldn't find the file that I was looking for. When ever I tried to right click on the installer, it didn't give me an option for properties. I even tried it on the site, but it still didn't give me what I needed. I am getting frustraited!!!
