All of us know that, after balderan, after Balderan, the hunt areas are closed (Amakusa, Balderan Mining Área, etc). Knowing about that came me a question in the head: how will the high levels hunt? They don't simply hunt!

The mentors' system this being constantly used by all, the top of the game is level 42 (it should already be 43 if I don't make a mistake). I want to know that you find of the mentors' system... Is it unjust for doing with what the player doesn't need to make an effort to hunt?Or the mentors' system is correct, that the mentors made an effort to get yours mentis and they deserve at least to win something in reward after.

I am wanting to know that why I found an immense absurdity they be before even level 42+ of Amakusa to open. It is not envy, me until I congratulate the highest level for getting so many mentis.

Respectfully,
Fabbio

Its ridiculous! Think about this... a lvl 80 being mentored by a lvl 70? It wont take longer to happen! Just need new maps.

The mentor system need to be fixed, and fast... because there is ppl abusing of this absurd.

There's been enough on this already. The people who are very high in level are missing a crap ton of quests and will be bored in half the new maps that open. The real issue with the mentor system is that nothing ever explained it to new players, so a limited number of people capitalized early rather than it being more evenly distributed. It can be left as it is and the consequences will be far minimized compared to the attrition over content.

It has been confirmed that after the mentis do their second job upgrade, they stop being mentiis. It's not that big of a problem - just take a look at the absurd amount of exp needed to gain levels 50+.

i dont know where u heard that, but even after a player makes 2nd job advance, the menti system continues. I've confirmed it in the GnG version. My mentor was lvl 41 atm, and i was lvl 31, yet i still gave him exp.

Nameless passed on that information. He's even got a screenshot of a GM confirming it.

I don't mind people having a lot of mentees, as long as they actually help out.

It just bothers me that some people just sit on their *** and spam or just afk in a PlayHouse named "Mentor Me"

Also some just do it to get attention/publicity, not for the real reason that they want to help others.

Well I'm relatively new to WS. This guy who asked if he could be my mentor is pretty helpful. When he chats he doesn't seem to mind my questions no matter how newbeh. I can see how some people don't care about their mentis. I guess the menti has to know that if their mentor isn't acting as a mentor, then s/he should get a new one. There's a similar system in Fiesta and people also spam in Roumen about getting apprentices >< It's annoying, but at least there's some good that may come out of it.

The system seems really convoluted and complicated. I'm just gonna play it safe and stay away entirely because I don't understand it.

Do you still get the 20% bonus if you are a second class menti?

Not everyone needs to have their mentor help them, and the mentor isn't supposed to be a slave to the menti. I think that all that should be expected of a "mentor" is to help with some basic stuff, not guide the menti through the entire game.
I don't think it's fair to expect someone to guide you through the entire game, you get more benifit than the mentor does anyway. A person can only be expected to spend so much of their time helping.
I have no idea why someone would want much help anyway, I enjoy figuring most of a game out myself.

Edit: I vote for neither, at first glance it seems rather stupid(as I thought myself), but it really can only give the mentor about 200k exp if the menti goes to 30. 200k exp isn't really that hard to get.
