HEELP ITS KEEPS SAYING "Connection to server failed"

well i downloaded the whole thing properly and installed and updates properly but when i start up the game it says "Connection to server failed" PLZ HELP (p.s. i turned off my anti virus and firewall and it still didnt work):mad::mad:

One of the most common problem is caused by the computer's firewall. Make sure turn off the firewall or configure it correctly.

If that didn't help try to give it sometime because it could be that many people are playing and the server is overloaded so it disconnects you from the server.

Try to login into Fiesta from another computer so you will know if the problem is caused by the game or because something is wrong with your computer settings.

Yeah Fiesta works just fine on my family's computer.
On my computer, I turned off my internet secruity and my Firewall but it still doesn't seem to work.

This has happened before to me before a few weeks ago.But it started working again.. But just today it started acting up again, every now and then weirdly I can login just fine.But most the time I can't.

Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks in advance! :)

Same problem as the OP. I tried setting my firewall off, but that didnt help. It worked on my friends laptop connected to my internet, but not a different computer than the one im on. Could you point me to some fo these formatting options you talked about?

Formatting is installing the Windows again from fresh, but you can always Restore your computer to an earlier date, that could fix the problem.

Think there could be a server problem at the moment as I got DC'd last night mid-vend and "Cannot connect to Server" since

Firewall gives total access to all Fiesta components and patch check etc goes through OK. It's only after I've entered password and tried to get in that server problem comes up

DO NOT FORMAT YOUR PC - That'd be a last resort and should only be done ny someone who knows what they're doing as you'll lose everything and have to reinstall everything else on your computer

OK - Tried to uninstall the Adobe and anti-virus updates that happened last night. No effect.

OK - So I upgrade Windslayer and still couldn't access server on there either

Updated Soltice and after about 10 mins of updates I can get in there and play.

Tried Fiesta for the fun of it before I uninstal and although I couldn't get in at least I got as far as having a choice of servers before it said couldn't connect to world server.

Only program these 3 games share is Xtrap, has this updated at all to cause problems?

**UPDATE**

Uninstalled Fiesta and re-installed from my same download (which I always keep, just in case) and let it run through 5 mins of updates and now get in no problem!

i haven't actually played fiesta yet, so a restore is no good. There is no other porblem with my cimputer.

Could be because many people were connected to that server. usually this happens when the server shows High.

Please edit your post and remove that e-mail address as it is against the T.O.S also for your own safety.

All right, there should be two things you have to allow for the firewall.

It should be the Fiesta file itself, and the Outspark launcher.

Allow those and you should be fine.

It could even be a more simple reason. A lot of teens playing this game, don't realize that IF they are sharing a computer with the family, sometimes the Parents Play it Safe and Restrict Privileges on the other Accounts. Make sure whatever account (if multiple) Has Administrative access, otherwise it may not let outbound connections connect, and vice versa, inbound connections connect.

I have to set up an account for the downstairs computer for my little brother, when we feel like playing together. If he uses the guest account, it will let him load the client, but a connection will not be resolved.


If this is the case, ask whoever has administrative access to the computer, to set up an account with custom access, allowing connections (In and Out) to bypass the Firewall. Or even just to use the Admin. account during Game Play.


ALSO**** Everytime the Client Patches or Updates, you're going to need to re-set the access for firewalls such as Norton Live Anti-Virus, because the original .exe you put on the ALLOW list, is now different, and it will recognize it as a different version. Just when the Pop Up Comes up, click Allow Always, if you have the option.

Any other possiblities why we cant log in aside from internet security and Computer specs? Cause my computer fits perfectly to both sections .

After 9.30pm I can't login at all. In fact at 9.20pm or so I lagged badly, and got several dc's in a row. Now I can't even see the servers list ("connection to servers has failed"). My antivirus is off, firewall is off too, no other programs running, with or without my router, resetting the modem, flushing dns and NONE of them work.

install the green one on the right side cuz when i DL it it was the installer which only like 5 secs to download then just clik the installer to begin DL-ing (bit torrent) then thats it thats wat i did

I've installed the downloader... thingy... and when I go to open it so i can download it, it said i don't have a connection to the internet, if i didn't how could i be poasting this?
