Deluxe helm 6ap glitch

Im tired of trying to enchant my helm to +5
this is the second time that happen to me so i know its a glitch
what happens is when the helm gets to +4
and u try to enchant it again it becoms deluxe helm 6ap +3
GM go ahead and try it don't and invisagate this mater cuz i lost over 6 xem trying this. I might must get it to +4 only how cuz im tired of losing the stats when it goes back to +3

It's not a glitch. It is the penalty of the enhancing system.

Enhancing anything from +1 to +3, there is no penalty if the xen fails. BUT, from +4 and on, There are major penalties if your xen fails to enhance the item.

So lets say you want to enhance a +4 item, If it fails - It goes to +3. Trying to enhance from +5, If it fails it goes to +2. And so on. Here's a more detailed guide on enhancing. I suggest reading it from top to bottom. http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91386


And yeah, I feel you on the losing xens because of the failed enhancements. My current armor piece has eaten about 30 xens :D~ And it's only +5. Lol
