Hey peepz!
I think alot of players aswell as myself are achin' for Cash Shop to open so we can personalize our chars and get some hawt new items on ^^ Some nice damage / crit stats and such would be cool too! but dayum i'm tired of lookin' the same lol, arnt you guys? New Hair, new clothes, new pets, new riders... :O yesh pl0x!!
So anyway.. possible rough date on Cash Shop please GM's!?! Anyone else wantin' cash shop so you can personalize your char please bump the thread/vote, let Outspark know we got cash and are ready to get smexy!!

Honestly, speaking in the game and on the message board are two different things.
In game you have limitation, and don't always have the time to type long sentences. So you must make things short. As long as it is one word here and there, I don't mind.

But, on a message board, you have time, you virtually have no limitation, there is no reason to over use such poor language. Plus, english language is a rich one, by using over and over short words like this, you're making the language as a whole poor.
Having a long text fully written in "l33t sp3kng" make it hard to read. Correction, not hard: it make it a challenge to read.
And, while I'm at it, don't forget the ponctuation. People who don't use it at all asphixiate their readers.

Hey there...I can and at the same time can't wait for the item shop. I mainly want to know if items are transferrable or if like many other games, only the person doing the purchasing can actually utilize it. People that have not the means to buy things online play free online videgames. There are a couple of games, that shall remain nameless, that I no longer play because if you can not obtain any of these items, you character suffers greatly from not being able to. I do hope that this isn't the case for this game as well. It will more then likely happen, but I personally sincerely hope that it doesn't turn into another game where the really tough characters are based solely on the amount of gear they are wearing from the cash shop. Anywho, these are my thoughts. I can't wait for the patch though to where you always get something form the KQ chest.

Well with the way the gameit is now I dont beleive that having the cash shop will affect your char in anyway. I mean so far we havent had one and everyone is doing fine. The shop will bring more variety and goodies that the game does not but it isnt needed to be successful.

I am with you on that one, the wanting to know if the items can be transfered or not. The last game I just left was like that, only people who purchased the item could use it, which really sucked for the people who couldn't afford it or didn't have the ability to buy cash shop items. Hopefully that if they are that people wont take advantage of it and ruin it for everyone causing them to make it where items are bound to the person. But anyway right now just being able to get a rough time on when it will come out will make me happy right now.

Mixed opinion on cash shop items being tradable although i agree also it would be nice but obviously for a decent in-game price as this is peoples real money your dealing with. Only thing i can add to that is... Closed Beta cash shop items were tradable but then again at the time cash shop was free! Also from winning an event and knowing others that have since Open Beta after about hmm 2 weeks? or so of it's release event items became non-tradable and timed (I'm talking about Costumes, 200% hp/sp extenders can still be traded!)
:\ I guess Outspark is still deciding on that one although it seems the scales have tipped towards no-trade... which sucks :(
Would be nice if a GM could step in with a few hints here, nothing definitive just a general current idea!

I'll be happy once Cash Shop opens. I'll probably prefer the RL money aspect of it as I'm curious to see how much it costs, on average, for the item purchases.

Cash shops don't always currupt games. Look at Subeta. Cash shop items are cheap, and circulate throughout the game as common as any rarer item. These items help the economy rather than hurt it. (The items start at 2.50, so there are no real regrets of using it.)

Perhaps the cash shop could sell hats? I'd easily see people paying a miniscule amount of money for a fun hat.

If they wish for the game to grow then by having people spend their cash to buy credits of some sort would be the best way as long as they don't let the greed go to their heads. They should also have a bit harder way for those that can't afford or are not allowed to purchase the credits to gain them, but not easily.

But aside from that, I do have to agree that everyone looks the same and that is just boring and not that great. I like seeing differences in people. Being all the same is boring, look at us, are we all the same? No, so why should our characters be all the same then. Anyways I think have a shop of some sort to purchase different looks would be nice, as long as it doesn't go overboard otherwise no one will be able to keep up.

Also I wish to know what the "spark cash" is. All I see is what looks like a small pile of stones and would like to know what is will be for.

Also please on the forums when posting and/or making a poll, could you type proper English. I couldn't understand what "pl0x" meant at all until I looked through all the pages again. I may know a large amout of chat speak and do understand most, but I dislike seeing it anywhere and will never use it even when in a hurry. Take the time to write it properly next time. Thank you!

I need a stat reset point but i don't have money i can't use the cash shop. Other games there was an npc that would reset ur skills stats and so on for certain money. Like 5k to reset one thing and 5k for the other and 9k for both at same time. Could we also impliment one of those for those people who can't afford to spend real money.

Cash shops are all right, but many a time I find it all most impossible to play a game with a cash shop in it, because there are items in there that you just can't live without...Like buff pots and exp pots. I've seen a game that its CS had quest items in it...

I personally think that luxuries in the game should be the Cash Shop's main priority. Your gaming isn't truely impared, nor are you at a pure disadvantage by not having your reset point. It would be nice to be able to get it without cash, I agree, but I believe that what you speak of would be an incentive for someone to buy said cash shop items.

well, this may come as a BIG shock to some of you but....

The developers and Outspark (if they are two separate entities) made Fiesta to make MONEY.. So the cash shop is where they are going to get paid for all this hard work they have been putting into this work of art (which i consider this game to be)

Instead of demanding a monthly fee, a new breed of MMO's have arrived that are completely free to play.. it's now optional whether or not you need to pay anything.. So they have a cash shop with extra goodies that aren't available in-game via drops.

I personally don't have any problem with anything that they sell in the cash shop.

Mainly because they will be available to non-paying players too.. It's becoming common for people to buy items from the cash shop, and trade them for in-game cash from other players.

So you can put together come Silver or Gold in-game, and use it to buy Cash Shop items from players who purchased them.

Everybody wins!!!

Yes they need to make money but 10 year olds can't do what they are asking. And yes one or two screw ups in stats won't hurt but i have multiple and it is making it harder at my lvl to lvl. But yes stat reset i think should be something that u get with IG Money. Alot of people need them and like somepeople said. THey don't have a paypal,credit cards,etc. And getting together silver and gold ingame. If i had proper stats i could lvl and go get money easier. Ive seen it in fiesta and in maple story. I'm not sure about any other games since I havn't played many mmo's lol

The poll gives the impression that you'll get uber damage out of the cash shop... exactly wrong. The moment a cash shop does that, the base dies.. as proven in many other failed MMOs. Maybe an exotic house that's 'different'.. till another buys it, then guess what?

Well right now there are outfits being given out for prizes that give +25 crit. not to mention other really nice stats. Seeing as these items would usually be found in cash shops, how is it hard not to assume they will have some really good damage dealing items in the coming cash shop?

I'd like for the cash shop to get here sooner rather than later. While I do feel compassion for people that cannot afford to buy anything (I've certainly been there at points in my life), I also know that this extends to life in general. While free things are nice, there is also the fact that to enjoy some things does often require spending some money. I also hope that cash items can be transfered so I can give nice gifts to friends and newbies.

That being said, I think that the cash shop should offer items that offer stat/skill improvement and customize characters. Naturally, you shouldn't throw the whole balance of the game into complete chaos by introducing cash items, but the ability to have some things that are only available through a cash store make those things worth buying. I'd be unlikely to spend cash on something I can get through regular game play. At the same time, there should be things that regular game play generate that the cash shop just cannot provide. I.e. the cash shop items should provide 'choice' in character design and development, not be part of some ultimate character design. Games that can make different equipment provide choice (instead of simply working to get the absolute best stuff) make people want to continue to play them.

I also agree that stat resets should not be cash purchases.

Me? I'm middle-class. I certainly have enough money left over to purchase online items should I want to, but it really ruins the game for not only others, but myself as well. That 'sense of accomplishment' you get is no longer there.

Right now, the game is more 'fair'. A player can't get stronger than another player just because the spoiled *** was born in a household where he gets a $500 daily allowance from "Daddy". Once you add a cash shop, that will no longer hold water.

although i have know idea what that frist part is marizou... i also agree that not haveing to work for stuff is going to make it a little unfair to thoughs of us who have to work for every thing in the game and not just buy it...

Cash shops don't always currupt games. Look at Subeta. Cash shop items are cheap, and circulate throughout the game as common as any rarer item. These items help the economy rather than hurt it. (The items start at 2.50, so there are no real regrets of using it.)

Perhaps the cash shop could sell hats? I'd easily see people paying a miniscule amount of money for a fun hat.

like i said, i'de gladly donate to the servers. i'm saying that too much of of it could really ruin the game-play, with STUFF! that isn't really needed.
sure i'de like to change my character a bit maybe color of the hair and
sp resets useful stuff, but once the game starts selling exp cards, pets, accessories for the PETS!! i call that a popularity contest.

Go read the forums some, you'll be surprised by so many who do. So if all you do is feel the need to come bash this post for using slang, then I think its fair that you go to every post here and every form on the internet and bash those other people to because you don't like the way they talk.

Just because people talk in slang, short hand or other does not mean there not American and that does not make them uneducated idiots. People have become to quick to judge others especially when they use anything other then 'proper English'.

The internet is a place for people to be what they are not normally. So who does it hurt if someone wants to talk a bit odd? Or wants to use slang? Why does it matter so much to people especially in a GAME where people are told to act like something there not?!

Apparently so far there are at least 140+ people who have read this and has had no trouble under standing the context of the message. I think the thing that really gets me is a big majority of the people complaining about the original post cant even speak proper English themselves, now theres something to sit and think on.


'Nuff said. Now if we can get back to the real topic of cash shop/fiesta store and stop bashing this post, I will be greatly happy. If you feel the need to bash just go look for the "ZOMFG***BBQYARLYKTHXBB?!?!?!!!!!!!" posts and go harass them for a bit, I'm sure they'll keep you entertained for awhile.

Honestly, speaking in the game and on the message board are two different things.
In game you have limitation, and don't always have the time to type long sentences. So you must make things short. As long as it is one word here and there, I don't mind.

But, on a message board, you have time, you virtually have no limitation, there is no reason to over use such poor language. Plus, english language is a rich one, by using over and over short words like this, you're making the language as a whole poor.
Having a long text fully written in "l33t sp3kng" make it hard to read. Correction, not hard: it make it a challenge to read.
And, while I'm at it, don't forget the ponctuation. People who don't use it at all asphixiate their readers.

I have read everyones posts and id like to say that i think that a GM should post up what they are going to do about the cash shops, pesonally i think that every one should pay a minimal monthly fee and that is HOW they should make their money, ALL items that would be in the cash shop like high end stuff and costumes will be available to all as normal loot drops.
I dont care about how anyone speaks as long as they make their message heard.
So PLEASE GM's just give us a clue on how the world turns in your eyes.

Maybe if people just stayed on topic this thread would be fine. You would think after reading God knows how many pages and seeing what this main post is all about then they would get the hint. But no they don't, they feel the need to jump on the 'lets bash how people talk' band wagon. It has been explained in many posts by many people yet people still feel the need to make comments like "ENGLISH!!!", even after 7 pages of reading.

Not everyone can afford to play a game that requires you to pay each month. Some people are made of money and some are not, its just the way of life. I have so many good examples I would love to post but I do not think I will go into it at this time. I will say though I think the cash shop is a good idea and an even better idea would be to have the items tradable in the game for the people who can not afford to spend real money on a game.



This topic needs to go back to what its originally about and thats the cash shop and not about bashing internet slang.
