Dreaming You Goodbye

I wrote this poem in December, and I've been meaning to put it here but I never got around to arranging the screenshots. Finally I have. I thought with the marriage and divorce function out and all the people who have gone through failed marriages in game, I thought even though the poem does not have any specific Fiesta references, due to that it would still be game related.#
I also added the poem in word format just in case it is difficult to read as is in the pictures.

Dreaming you Goodbye

I lived a dream once...oh what a dream.
But now I live to dream no more;
As what’s the point of dreaming
If what you dream of is what you’re dying for?

Why climb the highest mountain to be pushed off once you reach the top?
What’s the point of trying if you’re clearly quickly stopped?
Why try to get inside your heart when you bruise me with your hate?
And all that’s left inside of me is a heart that overflows with spate.

I lived to dream, I dream to live,
But that’s all it ever was;
A hateful dream that made me think
It was real when it was not!

I once perceived that you were all I ever needed in my life.
But now as I look back on my blunder,
As within me the turmoil starts to crumble,
I often ask ‘what rock was I living under?!’

What a fool was I, still am, will be forever
(I still think you and I are going through a faze – This’ll pass)
As still when I’m drowning, sinking,
For you, a feeble twig, I grasp.

Don’t you find this funny?
Oh, how you must guffaw and laugh
At this little girl you’ve got wrapped around your finger
Ready to do anything of which you ask.

God! What’s wrong with me?!
Why can’t I get you off my mind, leave you behind?
I really don’t want to be a part of this. But who’d believe me?
I don’t... as if you search within my heart I assure you, you you’d find.

I laugh. I’m going insane now.
I fall in a thud upon the ground.
Maybe if you see the state I’ve gotten to you’ll feel pity
And come back to the girl whose love you always found.

Ha! How pathetic am I?
For years I’ve engulfed myself with tears, my life was one big lie.
No wonder this is my life... I deserve to be trodden on.
It’s my fault. Maybe it really is time for me to say goodbye...

Hmm, i'm surprised noone has responded here yet..

I suppose you are correct that it somewhat has to do with Fiesta.

It's safe to say you explained the jist of it in general I would overall say fairly Impressive.. ^^

Then again i've only been freestyling for the past year because writing became too easy for me lolz so i'm not quite sure how good my opinion would be anymore. :p

Thank you so much Anna :) I have quiet a few poems, but most aren't fiesta related. I like writing poems so I wouldn't mind making more, but unless I'm struck with inspiration I find it hard to start writing ^^

Hihi, very good question actually... I was hoping nobody would be pay too much attention especially since his hair was the same, but gah you caught me out ^^

Hmm, I took those pictures quite a while ago, and when I decided to do the screenshots with the poem I always had in mind to take new ones. Months passed, and I decided to finally do it, but you could say I was feeling a bit lazy and tried to make do with screenshots I already had.
I was a bit annoyed when I noticed they weren't all cleric pics of the male, but I thought I could slip it in there unoticed :P

Also, those are the characters my boyfriend used to use when he was playing Fiesta. He was very into that colour hair and style, so instead of changing styles on his characters, he figured he'd stick to the same style since he liked it so much. Hehe ^^

i like your poem, but dont feel bad we all do this at one time or another. its jus t we have to find out inside ourselves when its time to let go and move forward.even harder when we know hter eis no second chance. be gla d that though it may not work out inthe end you may still find wiht him alive tha t you can still be friends. Love for anyone once taken away is hard for all. ask the fool whos been there done this and also lost love to death . int he end though realize one thing you cant be truely loved unless you are yourself and care about you . if your not accepted for you thenits time to let go of the relationship an maybe be better off as friends after you allow yourself to heal.

Thank you for your kind words. Fortunately this is not a situation I find myself in and have been in a happy relationship for almost 4 years now. But I still enjoy writing these type of poems, and in moments where I might be feeling slightly doubtful, or even moments where everything is just perfect, I might get inspiration to write and for some reason they always tend to come out more on the negative side. I feel that more people can empathize when it's this way.
