I made a thread about the new recipes falling in the abysses and in DT on Teva's tavern. It was shortly after DT opened and was hoping to see some new recipes that had not previously been falling in the abysses. There are still alot of comp/decomp recipes many of us are looking for but they just are not showing up. It seems to be just a few of the new T5 recipes being found by many different people.

I'm just gonna paste the first post in that thread here. I'm sorry if it seems like it's worded more for Teva and the estimated market values of some of the recipes may not be the same on your server. I just think it's good info that maybe others have not seen since I originally posted it in Teva's Tavern.

Ok...I'm making this thread for 2 reasons.

1) Many people including myself are interested in buying some of the new production skill learning scrolls that are dropping in various places such as the abysses and Dragon Tomb.

2) I want to help people determine if thier new recipe that they have found is useful and worth any money...or, like a large majority of the recipes falling, is available at the skill masters in roumen, eldy, or uruga and consequently not worth much at all. :(

**I'm placing it in this section of the forums because I think very few people look in production discussion section, I think it will be useful, and I don't think it belongs in the marketplace since it's more for informational purposes. I think it would get booted from any General discussion section and I'm mainly concerned with informing players from the Teva server since I am also going to be interested in aquiring some of these recipes. It shouldn't have to be bumped too often here and maybe it will stay close to the first page for easy reference. Hopefully some of the forum users will see this and be able to answer some questions that thier non-forum user friends might have.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Several of the recipes falling in these places are really t1-t3 level items and can be bought for very little money at one skill master or another. The problem that some people are having in determining what they are is, so many of them use names of materials that don't match exactly to the commonly used name within the game.

Some common examples:

crispy mushroom = spoiled mushroom
normal mushroom = common mushroom
sweet smelling mush = fragrant mushroom
ghost fruit = spirit fruit
precious pledge = preserved sign

Since most of the confusion is from the multiple comp/decomp recipes, I'll list all of the those but just cover the basics on the scroll, stone, and potion recipes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

SCROLLS:
all the t1 scroll recipes can be bought from skill master
all the t2(except for speed, vitality, and shield) can be bought from skill master.
all the t3 scroll recipes (except for speed, vitality, and shield) can be bought for fame from Nina.

rare scroll drops:
t2 speed, vitality, shield: these fall in lower level abysses and some elite mobs. They are quite rare and sell from 1g to 3g each.
t3 speed, vitality, shield: these fall in the higher level abysses and are much more common than the t2 recipes. They sell from 50s to 500s.
all t4 scroll recipes: these recipes fall in the highest level abysses and can be found in Dragon's Tomb. They are still quite valuable(with the exception of t4 'divine magic' <---very little demand for it). Value is going down as more are found, but most will sell for 2g to 8g maybe higher.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

STONES:

t1 and t2 stone recipes can be bought from any skill master.
t3 stone recipes can be bought with fame from Nina in Elderine.

T4 stone recipes: all t4 stone recipes fall as rare drops in the abysses and possibly in Dragon's Tomb. They are still quite rare. These, like the t4 scroll recipes, are becoming more available each day but are still probably worth over 5g each.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

POTIONS:

I'll probably need some help with information on potions, since I really haven't spent too much time on this skill. I worked my potion points up high enough to make t3 hp pots and really haven't done much with them since. I do have a good idea on what recipes are not available from npc's and a good idea of thier value. I welcome any additional information.

All the t1 and some of the t2 potion recipes can be found at the skill masters. Most other t2 and t3 potion recipes can be found and bought for fame from Nina in Elderine.

T3 Antidote, T3 Cure: While the name of these recipes appear to be sold for fame from Nina in Eldy, the description of them really says 't2'. Many people have been wondering if the actual T3 recipes are in the game yet. As far as I can tell, they are not available. Hopefully we will find them in the new Dragon's Tomb.

T4 Potion recipes: All the t4 potion recipes are found as rare drops most commonly in the higher level abysses and Dragon's Tomb. The only one that I would put much value on would be the T4 hp potion recipe. The others, such as SP, HP and SP regen, Curse Resistance, Poison Resistance....etc., I don't think will be in much demand. I would put the value of the T4 HP recipe at anywhere from 1g to 5g depending on how badly someone wants it. The others, maybe a few hundred silver.

Poison Immunity, Curse Immunity: I have personally found a 'Poison Immunity' recipe and have seen a 'Curse Immunity' recipe somewhere. These are interesting. They don't appear on the list of potions able to be learned in the skill window, they don't have a skill point requirement to learn them, and the actual ingredients are a mystery to me. I was able to learn the skill having only 20k potion making points but can't do anything with it as of yet. I was kind of excited to find this recipe since clerics at the current max level of this game have no skill that can cure the poison or disease dealt by some of the mini-bosses in Dragon's Tomb or Helga's archer friends. The only thing capable of curing those ailments are the T3 Antidote and T3 Cure potions obtained through kkp and spider king quests(the recipes for these pots do not exist yet in this game as far as I know).

Since the potion is not able to be made at the moment, I don't know how to put a value on it. It may be best to keep until it becomes part of the game, sell to a friend who just plain wants to learn it, or learn it yourself. There is always a possibility that it will never be implemented in the game in which case it would be worthless.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

COMP / DECOMP:

Now, to clear up most of the confusion over the recipes falling these days, I'm going to list only the recipes for composition and decomposition that cannot be purchased from the various skill masters in roumen, eldy, and uruga. I'll try to put what the commonly used in-game name and the actual name on the recipe is but there is a good chance I might still get some of these wrong. If the recipe you have is not listed here, there is a good chance that it is worth very little money. Feel free to leave a question if you are not sure about your recipe.

One thing to remember when trying to determine a value for the following recipes is it's usefulness. Also, the fact that the absence of T5 Alchemy Stones in our game makes these recipes less desirable at the moment.

I know several people are waiting to get thier hands on a few of the decomp recipes...mainly the scroll material decomps since the price of scroll mats are so much higher than any npc will pay. The dust and potion material recipes will not be worth as much as these. I would say the prices would range from 200s to 1g..maybe a bit more.

Composition on the other hand, is not so much in demand. There is very little use, and no profit whatsoever (except maybe comping dogtooth) in this skill. It's only real value is the ability to make higher quality items for quests or maybe to open a purchase store if you do not have any hq mats to start with. I would guess less than a handfull of people server wide have built up thier comp skill high enough to use the new recipes I will list. I personally wouldn't pay more than 200s for any of them.

DECOMP: the 'end product' is usually the name of the decomp recipe.

High-class Beast Leather from decomping mermaid scale
High-class Beast Tooth (beast dogtooth) from decomping beast head
Intact Bone from decomping strong bone
High-class Ghost Fruit (High water/spirit fruit) from decomping Spirit fruit highest quality
Shining Gem Dust you actually decomp shining gem dust to get lustered gem dust, dusts are labeled differently
Middle-class Gold Ore from decomping hq gold ore
High-class Kylin Leather (summoned beast leather) from decomping summoned beast tooth
High-class Magic Piece (magic crystals) from decomping Magic crystals(highest quality)
Chewy Meat from decomping tasty meat
Precious Pledge (preserved sign) from decomping Ancient Sign(I have yet to see Ancient Sign in the game)
Solid Skin (Tough Leather) from decomping Premium Leather
Shining Soul DustShining Soul Dust decomps to Lustered Sould Dust (again, dusts are labeled differently)
Shining Spirit DustShining Spirit Dust decomps to Glowing Spirit Dust (another dust labeled differently)

Comp:

Beast Head
Strong Bone
Best Ghost Fruit [Spirit Fruit(highest quality)]
Colorful Gem Dust (Shining Gem Dust)
Kylin Tooth (Summoned Beast tooth)
Mermaid Scale
Best Magic Piece [(Magic Crystal (highest quality)]
Best Meat (Tasty Meat)
Pledge of Ancient Sign (Ancient Sign)
Brown Best Skin (Premium Leather)
Colorful Sould Dust (Shining Soul Dust)
Colorful Spirit Dust (Glowing Spirit Dust)
Sapphire

**The blue text above in this section 'should' be the name shown on the recipe scroll if you find it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was under the impression that once the T4 recipes would be falling...they would all be falling. This doesn't seem to be the case. I have noticed only about 3 of the comp/decomp recipes falling in the abysses since we were told of T4 drops (strong bone/intact bone, High quality beast leather/mermaid scales, and lustered/shining soul dust). I have, however found a new one in Dragon's Tomb(a comp recipe for premium leather) so I'm hopeful more will be coming.

I hope this info helps. I hope it sheds some light on what is worth trying to sell and what is just taking up space in your vendor. Many, many of the recipes falling now are just not worth trying to sell. If you are not sure of a recipe, just leave a post here and either I or someone else will be able to answer any questions to the best of our abilities.

I haven't seen that one before, but I'm assuming it's a comp or decomp recipe. I think the comp recipe where you turn master commander badges into Iron badges is available in Uruga. Can you post a screenie? or at least tell me everything on the scroll word for word?

Ok, I'll post it as soon as I log in again. Might be in like an hour or so.

For a fact I know the decomp recipe for mermaid scales to beast leathers HQ does exist in game. I bought and used it on my decomper, but without the t5 alchemy stones, it's useless atm. The other T5 decomp recipes I don't think exist yet.
