Cleric Weapon advice?

Hi,
I need some advice on weapon, recently I have tried to sell my 5 cleric hammers and maces I have acquired. They are Levels 30, 40, two 50s, and a level 80. All of them are green.
I was selling them for the prices of:
Lvl 30: 10s
Lvl 40: 15s
Lvl 50: 25s (both of them)
Lvl 80: 45s

While trying to sell these weapons, A mage, that i beleve was in the level 30 range, came to my shope and said "U should trash this garbage, no one will buy this *****." I did not get angry at her and start aruguing, but i was upset with what she said. Well she could have said "I dont think anyone will buy these, because of..." Is it just that hard to say or something?

Well what she said inspired me to go onto the forums and ask the professionals themselves. What do you honestly think of these weapons and why? How much I could sell them for? (if i can sell them)

Well, that person was right

There is a way to discern worthy equips, I'll just quote myself from a guide to my guildies :


Here is a guid of how to know what your drop is worth...

- The best stats you can have on a green (maxed stat) is half the level of the equip (except for some rare boss drops that can sometimes have more, mostly on the 20- weapons)
Ex : an 46 archer hat with 23 END, it's a maxed END
an 80 fighter armor with 40 SPR is a maxed SPR

- Boots and hats can have 2 stats, armors and pants can have 3 (only boss drops and blues can have up to 5 stats)

- Best stats for :
archer : END/SPR DEX or STR (depending on the person)
cleric : END/DEX SPR or STR (depending on the person)
fighter : END/SPR DEX or STR (depending on the person)
mage : END/DEX INT or SPR (depending on the person)

An equip is good when you have nearly all stats useful to the class with good stats points
An equip is godly when you have all the stats useful to the class, and have them nearly maxed (or maxed)

Let's take those 2 60 hammers :

- This one is a good hammer. It has 2 interesting stats for clerics (END and SPR), a good hammer for clank. Those stats are nearing 30 (the max for 60 weapons). Normal crit rate

- This one is a godly hammer : 3 stats, all useful to clerics, and all nearly maxed. The crit rate is higher than normal

Thank you for explaining, I was not sure what to look for in weapons.
and thanks for telling me about the hammers and maces, i already had a feeling they where worthless. I just wanted to get more insight on them.

int and dex are mostly useless to clerics. The only one with a chance is the 50 hammer, and it's not worth much. Sorry :P

They're all more or less worthless. If you're really strapped for cash, you can try to sell the lv30-50 weps near Smith Karl with your shop saying "Weps Cheaper Than NPC". Lv70+ gear will almost never sell unless they're good or godly. This is only because by the time you get to lv70+, if you can't find anything better than the equipment that you're wearing, you learn to live with it, and keep leveling anyway.

And don't mind people that make rude comments like "UR STORE ISH FAIL LULZ". She could have said it more nicely, but it's the internet, and there's a lot of people who just don't care about the person on the other end.

DEX on hammer is ok but in supporting way. Hammer have less aim. But INT you can NPC them right away if they are the only stat on it.

If a hammer have end, str, spr in halfway point and some dex on side it is a good hammer too. But if they are your only drop even STR on mage is better than white. Cough my mage have a "godly" STR shirt once smack monster 1 damage higher with her stick than without it.

The best stats for a cleric is STR END and SPR some dex is good though just depends on what you want your char to be.
