Some items spawning as glitched

Well lol its a stupid report but if a basic item is messed up it could roll up the ladder of items further and possibly be important such as it registering 2 shield defences could lead to doubling block rate or so on

Bug Description: A shield found as a drop with upgraded status is registering 2 defenses at +1 instead of 1 def at +2
Operating System (Exact version, also is it an English Language version or something else?) Windows xp sp2 - fully done up with all the latest drivers and yes the plain english version.
